Ilang oras na ang lumipas simula noong nakausap namin ang hari at reyna pero hanggang ngayon ay sumasakit pa rin ang ulo ko kakaisip kung ano ba talaga ang kinakalaban namin. The Alpha had to run some errands so I was left with Blake in his office in the packhouse. He was just staring while sitting across me, letting me think of everything that's happening. But maybe the silence had stretched for too long that he couldn't stand it so he talked first.

"I can't! They're wiping out humans and it's already creating a buzz in the Mortal World! One video and everything will be publicized. We have to stop these creatures!"
Huminga siya nang malalim saka umupo sa tabi ko. "We will, okay? We will. Just don't wear yourself out thinking too much about it. We need ourselves in our best state of mind. Come on. Let's get you to my room. You can rest there."

"Aurora Amaranthine." He took my hands and held them gently. "You need to rest, okay? Halatang wala ka pang tulog. Saka tayo muling mag-iisip kapag nakapagpahinga ka na nang maayos."
Tinitigan ko siya. May bahid ng pag-aalala ang kulay abo niyang mga mata na mas nagpabigat ng nararamdaman ko.

"Amara," umiiling na banta niya sa akin.
Napabuntonghininga ako at umiwas ng tingin. "Pakiramdam ko may kailangan sila sa akin. Pakiramdam ko kaya ito nangyayari dahil sa akin..."
Muli niyang iniangat ang aking mukha para matitigan siya. May maliit na ngiti siya sa labi habang tinititigan ang aking mata.
"We'll talk about that later, okay? After you have your rest," malumanay niyang sabi.
Wala akong nagawa kung 'di tumango. Mas lumaki ang ngiti niya bago ako hinalikan sa labi. I closed my eyes and responded.
The kiss was short, soft, and comforting. Like he's telling me he's with me in all of these.
"Your lips are too soft. I could lock us in this room and kiss you all day. I would not dare complain," he said before pulling away.
I breathed hard. “L-Let's go.”
He smiled and kissed me one last time. “Let's go,” aniya.

Blake left me in his room to rest. Sabi niya ay tutulong muna siya sa Alpha na magligpit ng gamit at iba para sa paglilipat nila sa Miztac Town. Gusto ko rin sanang tumulong pero mariin niyang ibinilin sa akin na magpahinga muna. Hindi na ako nagpumilit dahil mukhang kailangan ko rin ng tulog. Nahihilo na ako dahil sa puyat kaya nang bumagsak ako sa kama ni Blake na kaamoy niya, agad akong nakatulog nang mahimbing.
“Aurora Amaranthine...”
