Secret Fire

~Chapter 24~

Addy Pov.

I feel Ingressus nudge my shoulder gently causing me to blink awake. I see him looking down at me with worry before I shirk away from him, he crawls closer to me until I can't get away anymore without falling off the bed.

"Are you ok?" he asks, his face only a bit away from mine.

"W-w-w--" I start before he crawls even closer to me, sitting down and wrapping his tail around his legs with a concerned expression.

"It's ok if you don't want to talk to me...." he sighs and sits back away from me as I feel the wound on my neck before crawling towards him and curling up between his legs, resting my head on his chest and flicking my ear. He hugs me tightly and I smile, feeling safe again.

"What happened...?" I whisper. "i only remember you biting me then pain where you bit me..."

"You passed out... I think a bit of my venom might have dripped out into your bloodstream when I was biting you." He sighs a bit and I let out a chocked gasp. "Don't worry! It wasn't enough to kill you! it just made you pass out."

He actually sounds panicked that I was worried. I let out a relived sigh then snuggle closer to him with a smile.

"But... the children are hungry..." He says and I look up at him.

"Are you?" I ask and he starts shaking a bit.

"N-no. Of course not." he says and blinks a few times before I sigh and move my hair away from my neck, and grab the back of his, forcing his mouth open and bringing it to my neck before he can do any more. I feel him sigh but feel him sink his fangs into my neck and start drinking my blood. He finishes then sighs as I glance at him.

"I'm your slave... you can drink my blood anytime you please." I say and he sighs then nods and hugs me, wrapping his tail around mine before rubbing the neck wound gently.

"I need to teach the children how to bite slaves..." He sighs and I blink a few times, glancing back for a minute as I nod.

"It's fine I'll help with that." I say and he nods and helps me off of the bed leading me down the hallway towards a larger room. He lets go of my hand as we walk into the room and I follow him, I see a large amount of children standing in the room, they all bow once Ingressus enters and he smiles then gestures for them to sit down and leads me over to a chair, letting me sit down on the chair. I look towards him and feel him start stroking the back of my neck gently. 

"So you all know what we're doing, correct?" He calls and the children nod. He nods as well then looks back towards me.

"I'm going to show you what to do on her. She is my slave and I am using her to show you how to bite slaves in a comfortable way." He says then rubs my neck for a minute before a child raises his hand.

"Yes?" Ingressus asks and the child lowers his hand.

"What's her name?" He asks and I smile a bit. 

"Addy." Ingressus says then wraps his arm around my neck loosely. Another little girl raises her hand.

"Yes?" Ingressus says and points to her.

"What are you going to show us first?" she asks and lowers her hand as Ingressus looks at me.

"I'm going to show you what not to do." He says and I nod as he nods back then leans towards my neck and opens his mouth for a minute.

"You don't do this, it makes it more painful for them." He says then leans towards my neck and tilts his head the slightest bit then sinks his fangs deep into my neck. I let out a scream from the pain and tense myself before he pulls his fangs out and gestures to me.

"See? it hurts her." He says then looks back towards me. "and this way you can't get very much blood as well as going right for the neck without tilting your head, their chin is in your way. But if you do this it makes it more comfortable."

He then leans towards me again and tilts his head more before biting me like he normally does. I relax more and feel him drink a bit of my blood before stopping and wiping the blood from his lip. Looking towards me.

"Can they practice on you?" He asks and I glance over at him.

"Of course." I say and he looks at the children and smiles.

"Now you can come practice on her." he says then kisses me on the lips, looking back to see the children looking confused,

"Don't do that though, that's my thing." He says and smiles then gestures for the children to come up, I see them line up, a little boy steps up and Ingressus nods to him.

"Just remember to be gentle, you can take a little bit of blood but please don't take enough that the others can't have some." He says and smiles as the little boy nods then walks up and tilts his head like Ingressus showed him, biting me gently, I feel him take one gulp then stop and smile at me then hug me. I hug him back as a little girl walks up and smiles at me, I smile back then tilt my head slightly, she nods then leans towards my neck and tilts her head as well, biting me gently in another place. Hugging me after. it goes on like this for a while until they all tried and drank a bit of my blood. Ingressus smiles before another little girl raises her hand. Ingressus points to her and nods.

"You said you have venom in your fangs... can you show us how it works?" She asks and he widens his eyes.

"Not with her... I don't want to kill her..." He says and glances at me.

"You could use one of those clear dummies. To show us how it spreads as well." One of the boys suggests.

"I guess I could, I'll be right back." He says then leaves the room for a minute. I look between all of the children as they all stare at me. I shift a bit, slightly uncomfortable before Ingressus walks back out pulling a dummy behind him and putting it down. The children look at it as Ingressus looks at all of them.

"So you want to see this?" He asks and they all nod. he nods then opens his mouth and lets the venom injectors pop out before closing his mouth.

"Now this dummy is made to be very similar to a person, a slave like her." He says and gestures to me. I gulp as they nod he walks over and wraps his hand around my throat then looks towards the children.

"See if I grab her throat then grab the dummy's throat they feel the same, so..." He says then opens his mouth again and bites the dummy's neck and I see red liquid pour into the dummy, spreading throughout the fake veins quickly. Ingressus stops biting the dummy and puts the venom injectors back in looking between everyone as I start shaking.

"It's red but it fades to any color of the blood of the victim so they can't tell if it's poison or blood." He says and punches the dummy in the face for a minute as the children nod with wide eyes, watching the venom spread more. I start feeling myself shake more as I look away, it's hard to think that if I make him mad enough that might happen to me...
