SYNPOSIS ________________
Annie Miller, youngest daughter of Joel Miller. She was barely eight years old when the outbreak happened and she witnessed her big sister's death. September 29th 2013. She remembered it well, every detail. The terrified screams, infected people eating those trying to escape, burning bodies, crashed cars, having a gun pointed at her, the way her father sobbed while he cradled her sister's body. She remembered it all.
She spent twenty years being raised by her father, and his friend, Tess, and Tess's sister, Hazel. Tess wasn't the best with kids, but always tried her best when it came to Annie. Though if truth be told, the two always saw each other more like sisters, than any kind of mother and daughter. Hazel was the one Annie always saw as her mother figure. She had always been close with Hazel.
When she was old enough, Annie started to help Joel and Tess on their supply runs. She tried to convince Joel to let her go out on smuggle runs by herself, but Joel never let her go. Simply out of fear he'd lose her like he lost Sarah.
When a gun smuggler ends up dead and the leader of the Fireflies needs something smuggled out of the city, Tess and the Miller's just assume it's going to be like any other job. They just never expected the cargo to be an immune 14 year old girl, and that not all of them were going to make it to the end of the journey alive.
