Kaneki's crush

"Touka, why did you absent yesterday?"

In the high school canteen, Yoriko has ramen as her breakfast, while Touka still has simple bread like every day. She can't eat anything but flesh, she just sits there and drinks her coffee.

"Touka" Yoriko asks again

Touka's eyes were dreamy, looking down at her coffee and lost connection with the world around her. She let out a small smile naturally without any reason, looks like she was thinking about something and Yoriko was not in her attention

"Touka!" Yoriko suddenly calls louder but still doesn't too loud that disturb people around

Touka flinches and surprisingly looks up, meeting Yoriko's suspicious eyes.

"Huh?" Touka innocently asks, she doesn't realize that she has missed 2 of her friend call.

"Why did you absent yesterday? You didn't even reply to my message" Yoriko lowers her voice

"Oh, I was absent yesterday because..."

"It's not important anymore" Yoriko cuts Touka off, "There's something more important now"  Yoriko grinned. 

"What?" Touka is afraid of Yoriko's grins, every time she sees Yoriko grin, definitely she has found something strange inside Touka.

"You've grown softer, Touka" Yoriko smiles, "I see the changes on your face"

"What are you talking about? I'm not weak" Touka raises her eyebrows enigmatically

"I'm not mean you're weak" Yoriko laughed, making Touka frown irritatedly. "I mean your inside"

Touka doesn't get it, "Inside?? Stop talking with too much implication, so annoying" Touka groans, crossing her arms in front of her chest and showing her confusing face.

Yoriko just continues her friendly smile, but to Touka it was an evil and dangerous one. She slowly curls herself to Touka and holds Touka's hand. "Let me guess..." She pulls Touka's hand to her, breaking her arms crossing position.

"You've dated him?" Yoriko takes the guess,

Yoriko has guessed it wrong but is still correct as it's truly relevant to Kaneki. Touka blushes hard, her face becomes red like a tomato when Yoriko catches her weak spot.

At this rate, Yoriko will easily see her red face, Touka wants to hide it so badly. But it will be more obvious if Touka tries to hide her face.

"Ah! I remembered his name was Kaneki, right? You were absent yesterday to go dating with him, correct?" Yoriko attacked her one more time and grinned evilly, yet another pitiful attack, but it affects her. 

Maybe these wrong guesses are more powerful than if she guess right, Touka really wants what Yoriko said will be true. But it doesn't mean it won't happen, Touka believes it definitely will happen in the future, the day they're dating. That's why Touka blushes so hard.

Touka quickly draws her hand out of Yoriko's grab and regains her calmness, "I'm a strong and independent girl. I don't need any guy, don't forget that"

"Oh come on Touka, You have always said it since secondary" Yoriko irritatingly said.

"Yea, it'll always be," Touka said boringly, "Kaneki and I are not dating, I was absent yesterday because I was sick, ok?" Toiuka insists, denying all the assumptions Yoriko said before.

"Really?" Yoriko asks

"Yes" Touka nod

"Then eat my food, just a bread is not healthy," Yoriko said then push her bowl of ramen toward Touka
