After a long night, another morning has come, and the sunlight flashed through the balcony and into the living room at the tatami where Kaneki sleeping.

The sunlight shone directly into Kaneki's eyes, waking him up compulsively.

I should have closed the blind last night... Kaneki tiredly thinks in a dreamy and sleepy state.

Closing his eyes in annoyance, Kaneki turns to the other side, avoiding his eyes from the sunlight direction.

Kaneki feels something heavy and an abstruse warmness surrounds him. The pillow next to him is hugging him.

Without even looking, as his eyes were too heavy to open, his arms unconsciously encircle the bolster next to him, replying. His sleeping face relaxes as he feels the softness and warmth of the pillow he's hugging.

This feels good... The pillow is hugging me... Kaneki thoughts in a half-conscious state, his normally high IQ brain told him that the pillow is hugging him, without realizing the irrationality.

*Sniff*

Kaneki inhales the fresh air into his nose and it feels cool, smells like coffee but sweat, indescribably good.

This smell makes me feel like Touka...

Touka? She was sleeping next to me yesterday...

Kaneki quickly opens his eyes despite the sleepy state to see what happened, now that he is finally aware that he's not hugging the pillow.

His eyes widen and his brain cells work crazy immediately as he knows who's in his embrace.

Kaneki freaked out and he froze immediately, though his heart was racing at hell speed. The scary feeling fills up him so much that it's even more scary than facing a special investigator to him, if Touka wakes up, he can't imagine what will happen.

But also he feels so great at the same time, is it the second time they hug each other? It reminds him a lot about the last time their body contact was like this. Kaneki loves this, but at the same time scared that she will wake up.

Touka hugging him is just her habit while sleeping, but Kaneki hugs her because deep inside he wants it. Kaneki thought and trembling at his action.

W-What should I do?...

If he stays like that, Touka wakes up and he fucked up, there's so less chance that Touka would like it, they're nothing to each other yet. The only choice is Kaneki has to carefully leave her embrace without waking her up.

As he thought, he carefully escaped her embrace without waking her up. Though he wants it more staying like that isn't a good choice, even if Touka has feelings for him, but they're not in a relationship yet, Touka won't forgive Kaneki if she knows it.

"Onii-chan, Onee-chan?!" Hinami suddenly walks out of her room and immediately catches this scene in her eyes.

Kaneki one more time jump when he heard Hinami so suddenly

"Hohoho, what are you two doing?" Hinami teases Kaneki small as she sees Touka still sleeping and doesn't want to wake her up.

"SHH" Kaneki put his finger on his lips, signaling Hinami to stay quiet, he was afraid that Touka would wake up.

Hinami gets the signal and stays quiet as he tells her to. Stand there and watch Kaneki slowly escape from Touka.

Slowly holding Touka's hand and removing it from his body, he finally did it without waking her up. Kaneki sits up from the mattress and walks to Hinami.
