Y/n POV
"Are you almost ready?" I asked Elizabeth through the phone
"Almost" she replied
We were on FaceTime getting ready for the day
"Once I'm done, I'll walk over to your house" she said
"I figured" I said
"Unless you want to come and get me" she said sounding hopeful
"You literally live three houses down" I said
"It's hot out though" she said
"It's a two minute walk. You'll survive" I said
"Fine. Whatever" she said
"You know I love you" I said
"I know, who doesn't love me" she said sounding cocky
"I'm hanging up now" I said
"Good, because I'm on my way" she said
"Okay" I said before hanging up the phone
It didn't take long for Elizabeth to walk into my house, say hi to my mom, and then come up to my room
"Well, well, well. You're over here scolding me to hurry up and you're not even done getting ready yourself" she said
"I'm almost done" I said
"Typical" she added
I rolled my eyes
"Don't roll your eyes at me" she said
"I can do what I want" I said
"Has it ever occurred to you that we're kind of like an old marry couple" she said
"I would never marry you" I fired
"Then I'd have to lock you in my basement" she said
That caused me eyes to go wide
"Cause you wanna keep me around. How cute" I said
"Okay, shut up" she said
"And I'm done" I said finishing my mascara
"Okay, lets go before we're late" she said
"We don't have to be there until two" I said
"And it's one thirty" she said
"Holy shit. Already?" I asked
She nodded
I stood up from my vanity and pushed my chair in before making my way downstairs
"Mom we're heading out" I called out to my mom
"Where are you girls going?" My mom asked
"We're going to meet Justin, Carmen, Brandon, and Jess" I listed off some old friends from high school
"Okay. You girls have fun and stay safe" my mom said
"We will" I replied
With that, Liz and I walked out of the front door and we got into my car
"I call aux" Liz stated
"I was going to let you anyways" I said
"Good" she replied connecting her phone to my Bluetooth
She immediately started playing Taylor Swift
"Can I be honest about something?" I asked
"You know you can always be honest around me" She placed her hand on my shoulder
