Y/n POV
The light peaking through the curtains stirs me awake as I see Liz sleeping next to me. After yesterdays dinner and shopping date, Jess decided to take the party home and to make it one big group sleepover, so that's exactly what we did
"Liz" I shook her awake
She didn't move
"Liz" I whisper yelled
"Hm" she hummed
"Get up" I said
"No" she replied
"The fire alarm is going off" I said
That caused to her to become alert very quickly
"Kidding" I said
"You're an asshole" she said
"Takes one to know one" I replied
She flipped me off
"Come on, I can smell pancakes or waffles" I said
"Coming" she said following behind me quickly
We high walked down the stairs of the familiar house and saw everyone in Jess's kitchen
"I was just about to come get you guys" Carmen said
"They just finished" Justin added
"Don't mind if I do" Elizabeth said taking two pancakes
Once we all got our plates, we sat at the table together with small talk flowing here and there
"What time did you two go to bed? It was like five in the morning when the laughing stop" Brandon asked
"Five in the morning" Elizabeth replied
That caused everyone to laugh
"Right" he laughed at his seemingly dumb question
"And you?" I asked
"Right after you guys" he said
"Sorry if we kept you up" I apologized to him
"You didn't, I was watching Riverdale" he replied
"You still watch that?" Carmen asked
He nodded before he spoke in order to chew his pancake
"It's crazy. Cheryl literally got possessed by Abigail" he said
"Who's Abigail?" Justin asked
"I can't explain it to you. You'll have to watch" he said
Carmen and I looked at each other from across the table and laughed
"How are your parents?" She asked me
"They're good. Busy with work as always" I said
"That's good. I think I speak for everyone when I say we would love to see your mom" she replied
Back in high school, my mom was the cool parent and my dad was the strict one. Or so they thought. They're both pretty laid back, but when I wanted to get out of plans, I would always say that my dad said I couldn't go, even if it wasn't true
"I'm sure she'd really like that" I replied
Everyone nodded
"What's everyone's plans for today after this?" Elizabeth asked
"I have a doctors appointment" Carmen said
"Is everything alright?" Liz asked
"Yea, I'm just trying to get on birth control" she said honestly
