Y/n POV
Taylor and I haven't talked in a few days due to the fact that both of our schedules are busy. Whenever she had time to call, I didn't and vise versa. We barely even texted too. As for John and Liz, they made time. It did often result in Liz sleeping in until noon though because she stayed up so late talking to John. I was happy to see them making It work though, most wouldn't go through all of the extra effort that they are going through.
It's pretty early in the morning, around ten and of course Liz is still sleeping while I'm already dressed and ready for the day. I don't blame her though, I heard her still laughing at like four in the morning and it didn't stop until seven this morning. Call me stuck up, but no matter how much I like someone, I don't think I'd lose sleep over them. I cherish my sleep and make sure that I get my full seven to eight hours.
I'm doing a little bit of the summer homework I was assigned for a criminalistics class, which is just an online simulator identifying which shoe print belongs to the murderer.
"Yes!" I cheered as I picked the right answer
As I'm about to move on, my phone begins to ring. I turn it over from being faced down on my desk and saw that Taylor was calling
"Hello?" I answered as I looked at the clock above my bed to see what time it was here
"Hey you" she greeted
"Hey" I smiled even though she couldn't see it
"I miss you. I feel like I haven't talked to you in months" she told me
"It's only been like a week" I laughed lightly
"A week for you is like a month tour time" she said
I couldn't help but to laugh
"What are you up to?" She asked me
"Just doing some school work" I replied
"Oh.. should I let you go?" She asked
"No, I'm done" I lied
"You're done?" She asked
"Mmhm" I hummed
"You're lying" she stated
"No I'm not" I said
"Yes you are and if I didn't want to talk to you so bad, I would hang up, but I'm not going to" she said
"Miss me that much?" I asked
"Yes" she replied
"How have your shows been?" I asked
"Really good" she replied
"That's good! Are you getting enough rest, water, and food?" I asked
"Yea" she replied
"You're sure?" I asked
"Yea, I'm well fed and well hydrated" she told me
"What about well rested?" I asked
"I'm.. rested" she said
"As long as you're getting some sleep" I told her
"I am, no need to worry" she assured me
I hummed in response
"So I know we haven't talked in a while due to conflicting schedules, but last I checked, you got your test results back?" She asked
"I did" I confirmed
"Well.. what did you get?" She asked
"I passed!" I said
