Unexpected Connections

Minjis Pov:

Yesterday was quite the night. I still am unsure of what to tell Ji-Hoon, Maybe he might come to me today, which is likely. I really don't want to go to school.

He told me to call him...maybe i could send a text, i thought to myself

"whats on your mind?" Yuna questioned coming into the room.

She had come back from buying breakfast.

"It's nothing" i replied, getting up from the couch

I contemplated on telling Yuna, Maybe i should but i dont want to worry her.

I didnt feel like going to school this year but I really need to study this year to pass. Yuna getting me notes isnt enough to pass anymore, and ive already missed alot of days.

"Still thinking are we?" Yuna joked as she brought herself closer to me.

"No we aren't!"

We took the bus to school today, I didn't get much sleep last night so I seemed sluggish. Yuna noticed and rested my head on her shoulder.

We got to school and Hyera was waiting for us at the gate.

"Morning Lovebirds, how was the party last night" She teased.

"Fun." Yuna said in monotone voice.

"Spill the tea, darling. I know you had a wild night. Don't keep me waiting for the juicy details!" Hyera teased even more dramatically.

"Hyera I'm too tired for this" I groaned.

"Looks like someone had a little too much fun last night! How's the hangover feeling this morning?" She teased pulling me into a dramatic hug.

"YunNaaAA hElP she's suffocating me" I whined.

"You seem comfortable" she giggled.

In that moment it felt like the old us again. Where nothing had happened I was starting to feel we finally made some progress on rebuilding our friendship.

"Okay cut it out we're gonna be late" Yuna said while pulling us apart.

"We're always late" I remarked.

"Whose fault is that" Hyera chuckled.

"You live closer to school that we do" I argued.

We walked into the classroom and took our seats, Yuna started flipping through my textbooks. Explaining to me what to study for the upcoming test.

"Minji, aren't you going to tell me what you and Ji-Hoon were doing in the bathrooms last night" Hyera asked while closing her book.

"Nothing happened. I was just puking and he came in to check if I was okay" I replied.

I don't think I could ever tell Hyera about what Ji-Hoon said. She would make fun of me.

"Really? Because Ji-Hoon told me something else" she giggled, going back to her textbook.

"What?! What did he tell you" I asked nagging Hyeras arm.

"He said something very personal to you right" Hyera replied loud enough for Yuna to hear.

She caught Yuna's attention but she went back to her book.

"Hyera tell me what he told you!!!" I whined.

"I must say, I'm quite curious to know what you're going to say." She teased, pulling me by the cheek.
