Familiar Faces

Minji's Pov :

I glanced across the hall and spotted Hyera, with her arm around a familiar girl, Cho-Minjae?? My heart sank, wondering why Hyera was with Minjae. I pulled Yuna's shoulder, trying to get her attention, and pointed towards the couple.

"Yuna, look, Hyera is with Minjae," I said, feeling annoyed that she was caught up with her phone.

Yuna finally looked away from her phone to look towards the two girls, asking, "Why is Hyera with Minjae?"

"I don't know! that's what I'm asking you," I replied, feeling worried.

We decided to take a different corridor to avoid passing by them. Yuna tried to reassure me, saying Minjae wouldn't be around during our classes, and maybe Hyera would explain things to us herself.

In class, Hyera came in late and appeared in a good mood, she had a poorly covered hickey and her shirt slightly coming off her shoulder. I couldn't help but wonder if she might play games again and sabotage our friendship.

As class began, Yuna didn't seem bothered by Hyera's late arrival, surprising me as I thought she would be upset about Hyera being with Minjae again.

Hyera finally arrived, mentioning that she had 'girl problems' in the toilet for being late.

"Well are you okay now?" I asked, clearly knowing she's lying.

she brushed it off with teasing giggles, it seemed to have annoyed me.

Yuna's reassuring touch on my shoulder made me look at her, and she offered me a pen. "Minji, don't worry about it right now. Just focus on class, okay?" Her comforting words tried to ease my anxiety.

During the entire class, Yuna kept her hand on my lap, preventing it from shaking with nerves. Despite her support, I couldn't help but remain preoccupied with thoughts about Minjae. I found myself puzzled by Yuna's apparent lack of concern about the situation, which only added to my unease.

Class finally finished, Hyera had left class right before it ended oddly. I thought to myself if I couldn't get Hyera to tell me why she's with Minjae, maybe I can ask Yuna why she seemed so unbothered.

As we left the classroom, I asked Yuna to join me in the restrooms, hoping for a private place to have a conversation away from the crowded halls.

"That stressed, Minji? Don't you think we should grab some food?" Yuna asked, seemingly puzzled of my request to go to the restroom together.

"Why do we need to eat?" I questioned, although we had already had breakfast before class maybe Yuna was hungry.

"Okay, Minji, whatever you say, just don't complain after," she giggled, playfully nudging me.

Confused by Yuna's behavior, as well as Hyera's earlier, I brushed aside my concerns and took Yuna's hand, leading her to the restroom where she continued to giggle.

"You want it that bad, Minji, even at school?" she teased with a laugh.

Though I didn't fully understand her comment, I disregarded it and focused on reaching the restroom before it became crowded.

Finally arriving at the restroom, Yuna unexpectedly pulled us into a stall and pressed herself against me, initiating a heated kiss.

"Yuna?" I mumbled between the kiss, wondering how our planned conversation had turned into such an intimate moment in a bathroom stall.

"Yes, Minji?" she replied, becoming more intimate and affectionate, leaving me momentarily speechless.

Suddenly, we heard the bathroom door fling open, accompanied by heavy breathing. "Lock the door," we heard someone say urgently.

Yuna quickly placed her hand over my mouth, hoping they couldn't hear us, we both hopped onto the toilet so they would see out shoes peaking through the stall door.

The breathing continued as one girl with a familiar voice started to moan.
Yuna and I stared at eachother, holding in our laughter.

"I'm so glad you told me you liked me" the girls said to one another as they became more intimate

Yuna peaked her head above the stall out of curiosity to who it was. She looked at me, her face red as ever.

"What did you see" I pulled her closer to whispered in her ear.

"Minji..it's Hyera" she said, covering her face from embarrassment.

"What?!" I whispered a little too loudly, the heavy breathing and moaning had stopped.

"Who's there?" 

The girl began banging forcefully on the door, her voice demanding that both of us step out immediately. "You breathe a word of this to anyone I'll ruin you,"

I realized, recognizing the voice as Hyera's from the other side of the stall.

"H-Hyera?" I questioned hesitantly, hoping my assumption was mistaken.

"Minji?!" she stammered, her face flushing with embarrassment, "What on earth are you doing here?" She said, embarrassed.

"What in the world are you doing here?" she demanded again, vigorously shaking the stall's handle.

With a mix of anxiety and curiosity, I unlocked the door, and as it swung open, I caught a glimpse of Hyera and Minjae standing there on the other side.

Hyera's face turned red from embarrassment as she realized both Yuna and I were inside the stall together. She let out a heavy sigh, adjusting her shirt to fix the loose buttons, clearly flustered.

"Care to enlighten me on what the two of you are doing here?" she inquired, trying to regain her composure.

Minjae, standing smugly behind her, smirked in our direction.

"Uhm, well, Hyera," I began, attempting to come up with a plausible explanation, but Yuna interfered.

"We're here for the same reason as you," she chuckled, confidently stepping out of the stall.

"We'll be on our way now, have fun" Yuna teased, firmly pulling me along, and we made a. exit, leaving Hyera behind, still slightly taken aback by the unexpected encounter.

Hyeras pov :

"Don't you believe it's best to inform them?" Minjae asked, while buttoning up my shirt.

"Why should I bother? They already witnessed most of it," I retorted, seeing no necessity in revealing the details.

"You're aware of my relationship between your friends right?" she teased, playfully leaning in to give me a gentle peck before leaving the restroom.

perhaps I should consider telling them... They are my friends..

Helloooooo it's been a while :D I've been busy with school and stuff.  So sorry I haven't updated :( I love you guys for the support your giving, but off topic BILLIE EILISHS NEW HAIR COLOR?? THE ROOTS ARE BACK OMG?!
