Minji's Pov:

"I can't believe you didn't wait until class was over," I complained, grimacing at the mess beneath my skirt as I stood up. "Looks like a trip to the restroom is in order, huh?" Yuna playfully remarked about my discomfort. "Ready for round two?" she added with a grin.
I lightly nudged her shoulder in response.

As we made our way to the restroom, our attention was caught by Minjae, her eyes filled with tears as she walked away.

Yuna and I exchanged a concerned look. "Should we go see what's going on?" Yuna questioned, glancing back in the direction Minjae had disappeared. "Can I freshen up first?" I inquired guiltily. With synchronized sighs, we entered the restrooms. To our surprise, Na-Yung was there, casually smoking a cigarette.

Wasn't she attending a different school? Why was she here?

"Did your dad get you back in?" Yuna scoffed, holding open an unoccupied stall for me before gesturing for me to enter. "Nope, just here to drop something off for Lim," she replied, her tone oozing arrogance. I listened attentively from within the stall.

I cleaned up, feeling uneasy in this situation. "Considering what you did to her last weekend, she wouldn't go near you." Yuna shot back, maintaining a tense atmosphere.

Na-Yung let out a smug chuckle. "I've got my charm," she snickered before making her exit. Yuna audibly sighed in response.

Exiting the restroom, we resumed our search for Minjae, wondering if Na-Yung's presence had something to do with her distress.

"Should we tell Hyera?" I asked as we looked around the campus for Minjae. "What? No, Hyera will lose her shit if she finds out" Yuna replied.

We found Minjae, sitting by the library, covering her face with a book. Yuna pushed me aside, telling me she would wait for me in the hall. I know she seemed uncomfortable confronting Minjae in a sensitive situation.

I sat beside Minjae, quietly tapping on the book sat infront her face. "What do you want" her voice sounded like she had been crying. "Minjae...are you okay?" I said, attempting to sound comforting instead coming off a curious.

"Why do you care" she sniffled, pushing the book away. "Because, Your Hyeras girlfriend, we shouldn't hold grudges against eachother." I said biting my tongue.

I pulled my chair closer to her, "what did Na-Yung do?" I whispered. "Barely anything...." She began to explain....

" I couldn't help but feel self-conscious about my makeup. It wasn't as well done as I'd hoped, and I wished I had taken more time that morning but Hyera and I got caught up with packing. Lost in my thoughts, I entered the restroom, hoping for a quick touch-up. But my moment of insecurity was shattered when Na-Yung, confronted me. She started falsely accusing things about Hyera and how she's not actually with her mom packing. I snapped, telling her to get away from me but before I could react, she yanked my purse from my hand, and the next thing I knew, my belongings were scattered across the floor. I stood there, feeling humiliated. " She said as more tears started to well up in eyes.

"That fucking bitch" I said under my breath but Minjae still managed to hear.

"I've been bullied previously, all I'm thinking about is what if starts all over again. I can't take it"

"Minjae," I offered a warm smile, my voice laced with sincerity, "I want you to know that I'll do everything I can to prevent something like that from happening again." I gently placed my hand on her arm, hoping the touch would convey my support.

Her eyes glistened with tears as she looked at me, her vulnerability pulling at my heartstrings. "If you're up for it, you're welcome to spend time with me and Yuna," I suggested, my gaze steady and reassuring. I wanted her to feel a sense of belonging.

A hesitant smile broke through her teary expression. She seemed to find solace in my words. With a confirming nod, I affirmed my intention. "Absolutely. We're actually planning to go grab some ice cream. Maybe that could help lift your spirits."

As we walked out of the library side by side, Yuna's quizzical expression caught my eye. I leaned in to whisper to her, a playfully "Remember, be nice." Causing Yuna to giggle.

We sat at the forefront of the campus, nestled on the grass. Yuna had gone to fetch some ice cream while Minjae and I engaged in casual conversation. My attention shifted, spotting Ji-Hoon and Jin-So approaching us.

"Minji, could we have a moment?" Jin-So's voice wavered with nervousness. I got up to talk to them, leaving Minjae behind, and walked over to them, sensing something was wrong.

"What's the matter?" I questioned as concern etched across my face.

"It's about Lim-Sae. Na-Yung threw a major tantrum involving her, affecting an entire class," Jin-So revealed, his fingers restlessly intertwining.

"What? Is Lim alright?" Worry surged through me. Jin and Lim shared a strong bond, making his anxiety quite understandable. Na-Yung's increasingly irritating behavior was starting to grate on my nerves. she was causing trouble for everyone despite not even being a part of our university.

"Lim is fine, but Na-Yung publicly humiliated her. She claimed they were together last night, and she criticized Lim harshly, labeling her as the worst person she's ever been with," Ji-Hoon chimed in, trying to comfort Jin-So's distress.

As we deliberated on how to handle the Na-Yung situation, a scream from Minjae snapped my head around. There she was, soaked by a bottle of water that Na-Yung had maliciously poured on her.

Instinct took over. I marched toward Na-Yung, swatted the water bottle from her hand, and shoved her away. "What is your problem?" My voice carried my frustration as the gathering crowd turned their attention to the unfolding drama. In a retaliatory move, Na-Yung shoved me back with intensified force, causing me to stumble and fall. "Pick your own fight" Na-Yung laughed, mocking my weak shove.

Just then, Yuna returned, her presence a comforting balm in the chaotic moment. She intervened, gripping Na-Yung's arm with resolve, and urged her to back away. With Yuna's intervention, Na-Yung's bravery dissolved immediately as Yuna entered the scene. "Whatever you aren't worth my time" she scoffed, stumbling away from Yuna.

"Minji, are you alright?" Yuna's voice resonated with genuine concern, as she extended a caring hand to lift me up, brushing the dirt off my grazed knees.

"I'm okay" I said, attempting to get up but my leg felt sore. "Hey don't move it, you might be hurt" she said, bending down to take a look at my leg. There was a slight cut from a stray wooden stick in the grass.

I looked over at Minjae, soaked in water. I took off my jacket and hopped towards her to cover her with my Jacket. "Don't worry Minjae, She's not exactly the smartest of people from as far as I can tell" I said, assuring Minjae, giving her a squeeze in the shoulder.

"Minjae, I got it on recording" Ji-Hoon said, waving his phone. Perfect. "We can't hand it in the front office. She doesn't even go here" I scoffed, taking his phone and sending the video to me.

"So what are you going to do with it?" Jin-So asked, quite anxious due to what just happened.

"I don't know" I shrugged, limping slightly trying to step forward.

"Hyera will" I said coldly.
