Minji's POV :
"I thought you were on my phone this morning," Yuna sighed, looking confused and tilting her head.
"Yuna, I was only using your phone to check the time! I didn't even mean to grab it," I scoffed, clarifying the misunderstanding.
"I didn't mean to worry over such little things. Hyera was just being annoyingly friendly with me; I thought you would've picked up on that," Yuna explained, referring to the text message.
"What was the text message then?" I questioned, growing impatient.
Yuna chuckled and showed me pictures that Hyera had sent her the night before.
"Oh god, do I really look like that?" I cringed at the photos.
Yuna laughed and scrolled to the bottom of the chat where Hyera had messaged, 'Seems like your girlfriend had fun tonight ;)'
"She's been irritatingly friendly. She's been apologizing for Cho Min-jae. She's been blowing up my phone asking if I want to hang out," Yuna explained as she fixed her glasses.
"But what about you leaving class and Hyera following you afterward?" I asked.
"Well, that was her being overly friendly," she replied nonchalantly.
"You were so anxious in class... you were shaking your leg and being all fidgety," I added, recalling her behavior.
"Oh, Minji," Yuna laughed. "I was not anxious; you were staring at me. You know what that does to me," she said with a teasing smile.
Our conversation clarified the situation with Hyera, and it became evident that Yuna hadn't come to good terms with her, which explained her annoyance.
"Anyway, since that's done, what do you wanna do today?" Yuna asked, changing the topic with a smile.
"Uhm, well, I haven't made any plans. I'm kind of hungry, though," I responded, still admiring her face.
"Let's go home to cook something, heh," Yuna suggested, getting flustered from my gaze.
"What? Why do we need to cook at home? There's a Bungeo-ppang shop closer to us," I said, not particularly interested in cooking.
"Well, we have been eating out more often lately. It's not very healthy," she pointed out.
"We can eat out one more time, don't you think?" I groaned, feeling my hunger grow stronger.
"I guess so," Yuna replied, somewhat uncertain.
As we walked to a restaurant, Yuna insisted that we go somewhere 'healthier' than a Bungeo-ppang shop. The encounter with Hyera slipped my mind, and I hoped she wouldn't mind us ditching her for a quick meal.
We sat down near the window and ordered our food. Suddenly, Yuna noticed someone waving at us from across the street.
"Yea, hey, isn't that Ji-Hoon waving at you across the street?" Yuna asked puzzled, pointing at him through the window.
I turned to look and, indeed, Ji-Hoon was waving at me. I waved back, ensuring he was indeed waving at me.
"Why is he walking to the store?" I wondered aloud.
Yuna shrugged, avoiding eye contact with Ji-Hoon as he approached us.
"Hey, Minji! I thought you said you were busy," he cheerfully said, smiling.
"Well, plans changed, you know, haha," I replied awkwardly.
"Well, I was about to come here to grab something to eat. I didn't know you came here too," Ji-Hoon said, slightly touching the back of his head.
