Lost in Pink space

Hyeras POV :

I was laying in bed, staring at the ceiling while thinking about how pathetic it was that I was avoiding Minjae. I could not keep running away from her forever. But every time I thought about it, my palms got sweaty. I couldn't keep pretending like everything was okay.  It's difficult living everyday of my life like everything's okay.

I was wondering about the girl Minjae was with that night, I felt irritated not knowing who she was.

I knew it would be pathetic to stalk her Facebook but this morning it finally got the best of me and I decided to peak at her Socials to ease my mind.

Her Facebook looked like the usual, she posted slutty pics of herself.

She never posted about the girl she was with that...maybe they were newly dating?

While I was scrolling Minji had texted me.

'Hyera will you be coming to school today? (⁠ ⁠ꈍ⁠ᴗ⁠ꈍ⁠)'

I'm surprised she's still talking to me.

'wanna catch breakfast before?' I texted back.

'sureeee 😚😚'

I couldn't bother to pretty myself up today I felt terrible. I poorly did my makeup and went on my way to the restaurant.

I was afraid I would see Minjae at my usual places so I decided to go a restaurant we don't normally go to.

Minji's Pov :

Yuna and I decided to grab breakfast with Hyera today so we had to get up quite early.

We arrived at the restaurant early. It wasn't our usual breakfast place but Hyera insisted that we go here instead of her favourite place.

I feel guilty for not telling Yuna about what Hyera did. I want them to be friends. Yuna wouldn't forgive Hyera twice but it's eating my inside not telling Yuna.

I was drowsy from the lack of sleep. Yuna went to order our food so I decided to text Hyera if she was coming.

"Hyera will you be coming to school today? (⁠ ⁠ꈍ⁠ᴗ⁠ꈍ⁠)"

Yuna came back with a glass of orange juice and sat next to me with her arm around my waist.

"Yuna, I thought you didn't like orange juice" I asked

"I bought it because you like it" she says in a drowsy tone while laying her head back.

"Tired?" I chuckled, cupping my hand on her cheek.

"You know Minji. I've been so happy starting the school year with you. Everyday is so enjoyable" she said while laying her head on my shoulder.

I was trying to keep my cool but Yuna noticed my fluster and giggled.

"Hey lovebirds" Hyera said as she walked in.

Yuna didn't lift my head from my shoulder. She usually doesn't get touchy when Hyera is around. Weird.

"I'm assuming you guys didn't get much sleep" she giggled as she sat down.

"Hyera you don't look that well yourself" I said while finishing my orange juice.

Her eyes were slightly red, he face covered in concealer and her hair looked undone.

"I was just lazy this morning" she scoffed.
