Opening up

(I'm writing on my laptop lol my phone is kind of glitching so I apologize for the font)

Minjis pov :

 Despite the embarrassing bathroom incident, I haven't been able to understand an explanation from Yuna for her lack of concern. Even after returning home, with another class later today, I felt reluctant to go. 

 I mustered up the courage to ask  about Yuna's being seemingly unconcered about Hyera's relationship with Minjae. Could it be that Hyera already confided in Yuna? However, that scenario seems unlikely, given Hyera's tendency to keep things to herself. 

"Yuna," I called out to her as she sat in the living room, engrossed in her phone, while I remained in her bedroom. "Hey, what's up?" she responded from the living room. Gesturing for her to come over, I invited her into the bedroom and questioned her about why she seemed so unfazed by the possibility of Hyera plotting against our relationship once more.

"Minji, why are you letting Hyera's actions upset you so much? Let's set those worries aside for now and focus on enjoying our upcoming weekend getaway," she said, letting out a sigh, realizing she had unintentionally revealed her surprise.

 "Wait, what? Where are we going? Isn't it too soon since the school year just started?" I inquired, taken aback by her statement, finally understanding why Yuna was less concerned about everything,and to why she was on her phone all day, busy making plans.

"It's your birthday this Saturday, and I thought it would be a lovely surprise," Yuna replied, as an endearing smile ran across her face. "I can't reveal the destination; it's meant to be a secret," she added playfully, leaning in for a sweet kiss.

Yuna convinced me to put aside my worries and go to class, so we can finish our work early to avoid having any homework leftover for our weekend.

"Yunaaaa atleast give me a hint where we are going" i whined, i've been nagging her to tell me for a while now and she doesn't seem to budge.

"Minji i cant tell you, its a surprise" she chuckled, rubbing the back of my head with her hand. "its not fairrrrr" i whined even more, which caused me and Yuna to start giggling.

Hyeras pov :

I decided to tell Yuna and Minji the truth, but it felt like an impossible task. I've always been closed off when it comes to sharing my feelings, especially with those closest to me. But this time, I couldn't keep it to myself any longer.

Taking a deep breath, I mustered the courage to face them. As I walked down the hallway towards where they were sitting, laughter echoed in the air, reminding me of the  friendship we had. I felt guilty for what I had done in the past, trying to destroy their relationship with harsh circumstances. But I had changed, it's obvious they clearly don't trust me anymore.

"Hey, can I talk to you both for a moment?" I said, trying to sound calm despite the storm of emotions inside me.Yuna and Minji looked at me, concern etched on their faces. "Sure, come and sit with us," Minji said warmly, patting the seat next to her. Yuna made space for me, and I took a deep breath before starting.

"I'm dating Minjae" I calmy said, my voice sounding monotone. 

Their surprised expressions showed that they expected this, seeming as the two literally eaves dropped on us in the restroom.  

"I promise you, Minjae and I have a real relationship. "
As the silence lingered, I braced myself for their reactions.

Minji  offering a small smile. "Yeah, it might take some time for us to process everything, but we're here for you," she said reassuringly.

Yuna raised an eyebrow, sensing something amiss in my response. "Really? That's how it happened?" she questioned, giving me a knowing look.

"Yeah, it was a simple chance encounter," I replied, trying to sound nonchalant. "We started talking, and one thing led to another, and here we are."

Minji seemed to buy my story, but Yuna was still looking at me skeptically. She knew me well enough to sense when I wasn't being entirely truthful. I felt a pang of guilt, but I couldn't bring myself to share the real story.

"Well, fate works in mysterious ways," Minji said with a smile. "I'm glad you two found your way back to each other." Minji assured.

The bell finally rang, bringing the 3 of us to class. Minji was nagging Yuna about some location for their. Halfway through the class, I glanced over at my phone to see that Minjae had texted me.

'Bathrooms in 5? ;))' 

I looked at my incomplete notebook, its already been a couple weeks since school and I  have barely written anything. I'll just copy from Yuna later, I said to myself as I got up.

"leaving so soon?" Yuna teased, giggling. "Restroom, hope you dont have the same idea again" I teasingly said.

I chuckled at Yuna's playful remark as I made my way to the restroom. Once there, I found Minjae leaning against the wall, a mischievous grin on her face.

"Well, hello there," she said with a wink.I rolled my eyes playfully. "You and your impulsive ideas," I replied, laughing softly. "But you know what? I can't resist spending some time with you."

Minjae pulled me close, wrapping her arms around my waist. "That's what I like to hear," she whispered, planting a soft kiss on my lips.

As we stood there, hidden from the bustling school halls, I couldn't help but feel a rush of happiness. Being with Minjae brought a sense of comfort and excitement that I hadn't experienced before. It was as if we had found solace in each other's presence.

"Hyera," Minjae said, breaking the silence, " Is that my dress?" She giggled. " I couldnt find anything else in you place" I scoffed. 

"well you look good in my clothes"

Gra ending it there, idk how to use fonts on laptop help me, anyyywayys, this chapter was pretty rushed, i needed to get some homeork done, who tf gives homework on the first day of school im so done. the newer chapters arent doing so well, so if your reading this please interact (voting and commenting) so more people can find this story :D also if you are voting for my stories, you need head? jk lol.
