She wanted to listen to Razaiah, she knew better, she had been in windforks for two years. In those two years she had made a reputation for herself, classy and elegant, never caught up in any messes, and wasn't really open to other people. She had no friends but had many acquaintances and this got her respect, and popularity. Still, Keith was just too good to pass up, her infatuation was too strong. It would get her in trouble, but she would handle herself. Razaiah just had to trust her.
Her jeep wrangler had been shipped off to her so that morning she decided to take it. They left with Razaiah who was her passenger that day. Razaiah connected her phone with the car, and put on million little miracles, by maverick city.
"Girl I didn't know you were into Jesus," sage commented as she got onto the freeway.
"I am, and I am definitely into this song." She said quickly, so she could catch up, and sing along to the song that she so adored. She had listened to it a million times, and it still had that perfect touch every single time.
"It's a vibe," sage agreed with her starting to feel the song.
"Christ is a vibe," razaiah replied making sage laugh. Sage noticed that her uncle's family was big on religion. But despite the beauty of it all-dressing up on Sundays to go to church, praying together before meals and before bed-she couldn't help but wonder whether some of the kids were into it as their parents were, or was it just easier to go with the flow. Being raised in a family where she didn't have a say had a negative effect on her, almost ruining every good thing for her.
The whole ride to school, sage was stuck with Keith and his wonderful features in her brain, despite R  Razaiah singing at the top of her lungs. She could feel butterflies in her belly and her face become pink, the heat rushing to her face as she pulled up to the school, and tried to find a parking spot, while her cousin directed her, to where a friend had reserved a parking spot for her. She parked the car in the spot razaiah wanted, then got out, after grabbing her Louis Vuitton tote bag and her water bottle.
"Well, well, well, I didn't know the sweet looking new girl drove a machine this big." Darren Carter, in the flesh spoke, starting to walk  slowly towards her, from his own car, which for a second had caught sage staring.
"Well, now you do." She simply spoke, a proud smile spread across her face. Her wrangler was the best thing her parents did for her and she loved it to bits.
"Hey Darren" razaiah said with her smile of her own walking past them, while Darren waved slightly. She was glad that Darren was so smooth and smart in approaching her.
"So, sage..." he said, starting to slowly walk with her towards the entrance as she appreciated his beautiful feature in brown skin, and his tall frame, at least 6'2 that towered over everyone else. He looked so handsome in his neat hair, with the sides and back of his head shaven and had a beautiful fade, and his school uniform, slacks and a coat.
Her feelings were all over the place, now that she was outside more than she was inside an exposed to her peers, and she wasn't afraid to admit this, it was so much easier to deal with now that she acknowledged her feelings.
"Yes," she replied, slightly shifting her gaze to him then paused, "wait, how do you know my name?" She asked, not at all mad about it.
"Who doesn't?" He replied with a question. "Your on every mouth at windforks,"
"Oh really?"
"Yeah" He relied slowing down as she did, to grab some books from her locker, while he leaned on the next one, looking at her face. It was full of mystery, beautiful, but he was interested to know every feeling represented in her light brown eyes.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" She giggled out nervously, that she was under his gaze for that long. She slammed her locker door closed and started to walk, as he rushed his steps a bit to catch up to her.
"Like how?" He asked playfully, loving the slight agony he caused her
"So, Darren huh?" She asked, ignoring his question completely.
"How do you know my name?" He questioned light-heartedly and made her giggle. "Damn, your eyes match your laugh," he said, genuinely in shock of how anything could be so perfect, "so, beautiful."  She still giggled at this, noticing how smooth Darren was with his words, he knew how to use them.
"Bye Darren," she said slipping into class leaving him smiling. Her class issue had been rectified and she was shifted to her correct year.
Razaiah watched the two laugh and once Sage had gotten into class, she caught up with Darren.
"She is cool." Darren said, genuinely happy with it, and her for bringing up the idea. "I'm now going to be friends with her for my own personal reasons."
He finished, then he too got into his own class, leaving a proud Razaiah happy, that her plan was working out just fine.

Megan took a deep breath in, before hitting record, and started singing Benson Boone's 'in the stars'
She only sang a minute long, and watched it. It was pretty fine, she looked fine, and played the grand piano fine. It was Kelis' and she doubt she used it more than just a decorative piece. But the more she watched the video the more she hated it, and did it again, and again, and again, countlessly with different angles, but nothing was changing for her. She was frustrated, and  had to calm herself down with each passing second, or she would lose her mind. She left it alone, not ready to deal with it, and went and laid down.
It was dark when she woke up. Her aunt wasn't anywhere to be found in the penthouse at the time, and she decided to give herself one more chance. She drew the curtains to the floor-to-ceiling windows and had the camera focus on the beautiful view the city had to offer, with all the pretty lights and the bustle, while she was just seen as a dark silhouette playing the piano, as she sang.
She didn't want to watch it, lest she chickened out from posting it, so she posted, and decided to get onto Netflix after she warmed herself some pizza.
