Megan tried to keep her composure as she walked to the lounge area. Her head was hammering into her head that she was headed towards the guy who had taken over the world-online and physical, with just a note from his voice.
She looked to her aunt and with her eyes called for help to break the silence, which had all eyes on her and it was nerve wrecking, and she did come to her rescue.
"Drayton, hale, meet my niece, Megan." Kelis had a graceful smile on her face as she introduced them. Megan smiled too, trying to be nearly as elegant as her aunt was. The two men, who looked alike, presumably father and son were looking over to her, both seeming impressed, for some reason.
"Drayton," he said, as he stretched over his arm to her for an easy shake and kissed her hand. Her eyes were stuck on his face all along. "This is my father," he introduced the man who looked just like him, only an older version.
"I presume you know who this is," her aunt asked her, as soon as they sat down, kelis and Megan sat opposite the father and son.
"Yes I do." Megan said, trying to fight back the excitement. On her face was a bright graceful smile that she couldn't hold beck too.
"I have seen your videos and I think that your voice is power." Drayton spoke after her, trying to fill her in. "When I heard my father and your aunt are acquaintances, I just had to see you." As he spoke, she spotted a slight Scottish accent that was amazingly beautiful to her.
"Thank you. I appreciate you very much." She answered, genuinely flattered.

"so, I really like your voice." Drayton said for the millionth time, once they excused themselves from the grown-ups and took a walk down to the elevator, to get to the rooftop that neither of them had the chance to see. Kelis hyped it up way too much for it to be real. Megan knew that he was nervous and was trying to hide it by making a conversation and being on top of it."Thank you. I find your work captivating too." She said again. She partially wanted to save him from the tire and make it easier for him but she wanted it to play out.
He let her get into the elevator first when it came around. They both just awkwardly faced the front and had their eyes everywhere apart from each other
"The way kelis just hyped it I just hope the view is worth the while." Megan spoke her thoughts out loud, forgetting that she wanted to let his misery go on.
"You call your aunt kelis?" Drayton smirked slightly looking over at her.
"I mean, that's her name..." she joked, then informed seriously "she gives me the freedom to call her whatever I want."
"Well she is a cool one," he remarked. Making her turn to him her smile still not fallen.
"You bet." She replied, then let the calming silence fall on them shortly before the elevator doors sliding open, sending a breeze their way.
They walked in sync forward each amazed by the lights down below and how busy the place was. They could not hear anything, but Megan's head tried to fill it up for her. She wondered why on earth she hadn't been there anytime sooner. She was a procrastinator. There's nothing that she didn't wait to do in the last minute. She wouldn't have gone to the rooftop hadn't Drayton been there and her aunt pushed her to go.
She looked at Drayton from whom she had drifted away in bid to see more of the view that the vantage point had to offer them, and found him staring at his phone which was aimed towards her.
"I don't really appreciate pictures without my awareness." She said loudly over the wind that was blowing over them, as she walked towards him.
"Im sorry it was too divine not to." He mentioned, him too walking towards her. "I could delete them if you want."
"No." She objected. "Just inform me next time." In all honesty, she found nothing wrong with the picture, but over the hour that she had spent with him, it had been a growing obsession within her to push him to his edge too much.
"We need to take a video for TikTok." Drayton informed her who was down for it and thought that the rooftop was the most perfect place. They choose sound to lip-sync to then both posted the video on their pages.
Just in a short while, the video got views and likes and comments. And one of the first people to view it from her page, was Raina...
