Chapter 13

It's Monday and I'm sitting in my studio, eating my breakfast and pinging on my piano, waiting for inspiration to flow in me.

It's 8:30 am, which means I still have enough time to create a track before I have to leave to my twin's place.

My idea was to make an acoustic song for once, since it has been a long time ago I created one. The only thing is, because I hardly make acoustic songs, I'm not too good at it. I will finish a song and scrap it all in the end. Ian is better in emotional and slow songs than I am.

I've finished eating and drinking and I give my full attention to the piano in front of me. Maybe I need inspiration by listening to songs. I open my phone and put on a playlist full of slow songs. I connect my phone with the speaker and I listen carefully to the songs.

An hour has passed by and I have zero inspiration. I give up from my idea of making an emotional song. Then I get an idea.

Since I met Stray Kids, I haven't dug in their songs yet. I grab my phone and type 'Stray Kids' in the search balk. I put on the number one popular song and listen to it.

Another hour has passed by and I listened to a lot of Stray Kids. To be honest, I'm slowly becoming a fan of their songs. They all sing and rap even better than I thought they could and from what I heard of one performance. Their music is really impressive and inspirational, only if you could speak Korean.

I looked up some translations of the songs and it really is catchy and inspirational. Maybe I need to start learning the language of my friends.

My phone buzzes on the desk in front of me. I grab the device and see a new message from both Hyunjin and Jisung.

Since last Saturday, Hyunjin and I have been talking a lot. Jisung started texting me as well, first with the intention of knowing what I think of Hyunjin and now just goofing around and talking nonsense. Yesterday, we even facetimed for I think 4 hours straight together with Minho, thanks to him and Jisung being roommates at the hotel.

I really like spending my time with these guys. They're really amusing to talk to and to laugh with. I've really grown closer to the eight of them, especially these three guys I've been in contact with a lot.

The group chat hasn't been silent as well. Sometimes I don't even follow what is going on anymore and I will ask Hyunjin, Jisung, or Minho about it. They are used to such chaos more than I am.

Changbin has convinced me and Ian to film his TikTok together on our account. We figured it would be fun to make a TikTok with the ten of us, letting the world know we're growing closer together.

My life has been pretty social these last days, since the group chat with Paddy, Millie, Ian, and I hasn't been quiet as well.

All of a sudden I feel popular.

I open the text of Jisung first.
