Chapter 39

Time skip: 3 months

[Nikki's POV]

I'm looking on my phone, scrolling through tiktok. I'm sitting in some sort of room in the JYP building with Hyunjin behind a screen, waiting for the staff to set up the live.

I put my phone away and look at my boyfriend who gives me a smile. "It's going to be alright. I'm sure people will love us," he reassures me. I smile back at him. "I believe you. And if they don't, I'll continue loving you no matter what."

The latter smiles brighter. "I love you." The staff looks at us with a smile, being happy for us. "I love you too."

The live starts and Hyunjin talks to stay for some minutes. I just watch him with the staff and ask what he's saying from time to time, since I'm still learning Korean.

I really have the best teachers for teaching me Korean. The eight boys love to teach me, Ian, Millie, and Paddy their language and it helps with remembering. I have to say, I'm making great progress.

"But I also have another reason why I went live, because I have to tell you stays something." Hyunjin looks at me and smiles. I smile back at him and he signs for me to come to him.

A staff places a chair next to Hyunjin and he makes more place for me to fit in the screen. "I've been keeping a secret from you guys and that secret is actually a person. I really want you guys to meet her, but be nice, okay?"

I chuckle and stand up from my seat, walking over to the seat next to my boyfriend. Hyunjin follows my whole way to the chair and can't keep his smile hidden. "STAYs, I want you to meet my girlfriend, Nikki."

I sit next to Hyunjin and wave to the camera. "Hello guys!"

"I'm not asking my fans now to become a fan of Stray Kids, but they sure make good songs and you should try it out. We're not in an arranged relationship, okay?" I say, making sure they believe us.

Hyunjin turns his attention to me and kisses my cheek. "See, only love here." I crack a laugh at that and hide my face in his shoulder, which makes him laugh even more.

Hyunjin turns to me and looks me in the eyes. "You want to adopt stays?" he asks with a serious tone. I match his vibe and look at him seriously. "I told you many times I love stays, so maybe one day." Hyunjin slowly nods up and down and tries to hold back his laugh, but we both break out in laughter.

We talk to stays for some more time and then finish the live. "I'll talk to you guys later. Bye!" I wave again at the screen and kiss Hyunjin on his cheek when he turns off the live with a blush forming on his face.

"Now, insta posts?" a staff asks and Hyunjin and I nod our heads, taking out our phones and I rest my head on Hyunjin's shoulder.
