It's two months later and our new song 'All Waves Eventually Pass' has been released a week ago. The song has already reached number 1 in the United States and number 2 globally.
Ian and I are busy with preparing for a performance these last days. We have a choreography on the song and some backup dancers.
It's Thursday and we have the performance on Friday. Today we have some interviews we have to attend and most of them are talk-interviews.
We have been taking interviews for the whole afternoon now and it finally has come to an end. Our manager comes up to us with some bags from the Mc Donalds. "I guess you guys really need this now."
She holds up the two backs filled with food and Ian and I run up to her to hug her, happy with her and the food's presence.
We really are lucky with our manager. She's so understanding and caring towards us and the mother figure we really needed and – without really realizing it – missed.
Our biological parents stopped caring about us when we became well-known in the acting world, what was when we were around 14 years old. They already disliked us when we started acting. When Ian and I turned 16, we ran away from our parents and bought a house together to live in. Just one year ago, we bought our own places and started living separately for the first time.
"You have no idea how hungry I am at the moment," the boy next to me confesses, taking one bag from our manager to see what she has bought for the three of us.
"Well, let's eat then." She walks over to the couch. She places the bag on the table in front of her and falls into the couch, sighing. "You guys must be tired."
"Not tired. We're exhausted, girl." I sit next to her, resting my head on her shoulder. My twin brother is already eating some French fries, not waiting for us all to sit down and eat together. He sits on the ground opposite of us, placing the other bag down next to the other. "Girls, help yourself."
We take everything out of the bags and put it on the table. I open a box of mc nuggets and get some ketchup, dipping a nugget in the sauce. I have to say, I really was hungry without actually realizing it that well.
"So, Hyemin, what time do we have to be at the show tomorrow?" Ian asks our manager, taking a bite of his burger.
"At 9:00 am you have to be ready and your driver will pick you up. We have to be at the show at 10:00 am. They say that there are other people as well, so please be in a social mood tomorrow." With that said, she looks straight at me. I gasp a little dramatically, so she gets my statement.
"It's not my fault I'm not fully social. Luckily, I have my social butterfly with me." With that, I look over to Ian whose in front of me, enjoying his burger. He looks up at me and nods.
"That's right, you're nothing without me."
I turn to our manager, totally ignoring what my twin brother just said. "So, who are the other people who are coming tomorrow? Do we know them?"
"Some group called Stray Kids are coming. It's a K-Pop boygroup."
[Hyunjin's POV]
I swear to god I get annoyed by my group members at times.
I'm so tired right now and I want to sleep, but Jisung and Felix really are in need of attention every goddamn minute that I don't have any rest. I tell them to go play some video games every time, but they say getting attention from me makes them happier.
And then you also have Minho who loves to annoy me by getting involved in the situation and be on their side.
God I wish Chan was around.
Since we are on a plane and we can't sit with all of us together, we got in groups.
Chan, Changbin, Seungmin, and Jeongin sit together, which makes me being stuck with Minho, Jisung, and Felix.
They really are fun, don't get me wrong, but I really need my dose of sleep now.
We landed and we've arrived in LA. We get out of the plane and go get our luggage. There's where we meet up with the others, who already collected some suitcases. When you're going abroad with 8 guys and some staff and a manager, you have a lot of stuff to carry with you.
Once we collected all the luggage, we walk out of the airport and get greeted by a lot of cameras and fans. I hear my name and the ones of the other members get screamed by a lot of fans all over the place. I wave to our fans and to the paparazzi and get as fast as I can into the car, which waits before the exit of the airport.
Once I get in, I release a sigh of relief and lean backwards. Chan, Minho, and Changbin get in the car as well and as soon as Chan shuts the door, the car drives away, following the car before us with the maknaes in it and get followed by paparazzi.
I put on my headphones and play some music. "Don't disturb me, I need my sleep since I didn't get any on the plane."
The last thing I hear are the chuckles of my fellow car passengers and the soothing music before I finally fall asleep.
[Chan's POV]
"That boy is exhausted, what did you guys do to him?" Changbin asks Minho, earning a chuckle in return.
"The other two were in desperate need for attention and I just liked to tag along with them." And with that said, he turns his head and looks out of the window, looking outside.
"I'm excited for the tour, though. We haven't been in LA in forever and I want to meet our American fans again," I speak out and get a nod in return from the awake guys behind me.
"And of course to meet Ian and Nikki Rose. I mean, the eight of us are their biggest fans and we are actually meeting them tomorrow," Changbin cheered out, excited to see his role models.
"We're going to meet them tomorrow!" I say, acting a little cutely. I get a frown from Minho in return, a little disgusted with my enthusiasm. "You're exited as well, don't deny it."
"I'm not denying anything, I'm thrilled to meet them. But I bet you are the first to talk to them."
Changbin agrees with the boy sitting beside him, giving me a look. I laugh at them and open my phone to see what's our specific schedule for the following day.
