On cold nights
I just like to snuggle with my biggest blanket
Our blanket
It still smells like you
Reminding me of all the many nights we spent
Watching our favorite movies
I still watch them without you
I hold on to my teddy bear
With the blanket wrapped tightly around me
Your scent fills my nostrils
I like to pretend that you're still here
Even though I know
You're long gone
The nights seem colder
With each passing day
That I spend without you
I want to get up
And make hot cocoa
But the blanket I refuse to wash
For fear that your scent fades away
Weighs heavy on my shoulders
I cannot moveWill your scent ever fade away?
