Guys are like dogs.
No, it's not an insult,
Like a dog chasing a butterfly,
Is a guy and a girl who are their ride or die.
She's got to be the butterfly in the air
For him to show an iota of care.
If she lets him break her wings,
He'll leave her for another fling.
She must always be ready to fly,
And never let him make her cry.
If she becomes the hurt butterfly on the ground,
He'll leave her and be nowhere to be found.
Because like dogs, guys are in it for the chase.
They go after what makes their heart race.
But once she's ready to give him her all,
She'll be the only one, headfirst, to fall.
Why do we admire butterflies,
But the sight of a snail does not please our eyes?
It's because one can easily fly away,
But the other is always there to stay.
Girls should always be like a butterfly;
Pretty to see, but hard to catch.
