Like a whisper in the night
No one hears her screams
All alone she fights
Everyone's asleepLike a candle in the day
No one sees his plight
Running from his demons
Trapped inside his mindIn the night
Her mind takes a dark turn
Too many memories
Etched in her brain
Seeing the ugly paintings of her pastIn the night
His mind is as bright as day
He cannot fall asleep
Too many traumatic thoughts
Running like timeShe almost stopped screaming
He almost stopped runningUntil she met him
Until he met herIn the night
He holds her tight
In the night
She sobs into his chestThe moon shines with the sun
The sun's beauty is seen in the moonShe is the moon
He is the sunShe sees him
He hears herHer screams are no longer a whisper in the night
His plight is no longer a candle in the day
