Dance

The sound of groaning had woken me up.

It was already the end of January, the cold starting to get much better despite all the warnings of the weather in Monaco which was reported by some strange old lady who lived down the street a few blocks away. She kept sending letters to everyone who was at least a few apartment buildings away from her, with notes in French that was translated to 'Today it seems to be negative four degrees at least. Keep warm' when it was seriously ten degrees that day, the warmth finally arriving at the country.

Lando had complained about the amount of letters he recieved everyday about weathers even when he tried to block out the gaps under his door. But they just kept coming, until he just sent a full letter back to her and having a full on argument for about two weeks before the old lady backed down. Everything turned peace and quiet once again, no more weather letters popping through the doors in the morning or at midnight.

The amount of tense and worrying Oscar had gone through everyday was just too much. He spent minimum three hours failing himself on the official racing game worrying about how he'd do in his second season in F1. It was impossible to calm him down, although some brownies on a cold day helped him much.

"Holy shit- Theo, don't cramp my legs out too much..." Oscar groaned as our dog, Theo, annoyed with him kept barking and sitting on his legs. "I'm trying to get more sleep before my daily sim with McLaren again. Theo!" Theo had almost knocked him off the bed, as I kept my giggles in hard. "Ali, can you get him out of my way?" I sighed and sat up, smoothing my hair out.

"Theo, I tink what daddy's trying to say is that you're annoying him, he's trying to get some sleep alright? Now hop off, we'll get you some breakfast in ten minutes or so," Reluctantly he jumped off the bed as his tail drooped and walked out of the bedroom. He was always too dramatic or just trying to get our attention. Oscar laid down again, pulling me down as well.

"Oscar, no-" He kissed me on the lips before I could protest much, throwing himself flat on his back and hoisting me on top of him. I flushed awkwardly as he slid his hands underneath my shirt, grinning and making me sit on him on waist level. "Please don't tell me this is turning you on again. I'm not in the mood to have sex on a Sunday morning."

"Please, baby?" He sat up as well, pulling me in towards him and placing a gentle kiss on to my neck. I shook my head constantly as kissed me again. I sighed and pulled away, witnessing the sad look on his face. "Ali, we've only had it once."

"I've got a party tonight, I'm not having my legs cramped and not going," There was a party in Monaco about nearing the start of the F1 season, and I planned to go. Many other drivers were coming round to the party as well. "Oscar, you're coming too, right?"

"Yes, I am, and maybe we can get drunk and do it tonight then?" Oscar pulled his shirt off and exchanged it with a green one. "Please, Ali?" I cursed silently at him while shaking my head once again and kissing him gently.

"No, and if you don't mind, I'm going to brush my teeth before my breath gets too worse," I climbed out of his grip as Oscar groaned and headed after me.

I patted Theo's head.

We were about to leave for the party when I had knelt down and refilled Theo's bowl of water and food. Oscar tossed the car keys up and down in his hand, staring as I did so. He was wearing some dark shorts and a collared white t-shirt. I had a dark blue sleeveless crop top and some short jeans on that reached my thighs. Theo sniffed me and licked me on the cheek, barking happily and excitedly.

"Good boy, Theo," I cooed, ruffling his fur while standing up. I got out of the apartment, Oscar locking the door behind me. "You look fucking hot, Oscar." He chuckled and kissed me gently on the lips.

"You look gorgeous as well," I whispered, placing my hands on the sides of his chest. "Enough flirting, or we'll be late because of this." Oscar sighed and finally pulled me down the stairs quickly, going outside and opening the car door for me. I slid straight in, as he sat down next to me in the driver's seat. "You're such a gentleman, Oscar."

"I am, as always," He grumbled proudly and turned on the engine, as we rode for about ten minutes before we stopped at a building. The doorway shone with colourful lights, music blasting out loud through all the windows. I had already spotted Lando and Max entering the building. I shoved my phone back into my pocket, walking in the club with Oscar's arm around my waist. "Come on, you want to dance?"

"Hey, enjoying the music?" Lando joined us midway. "I heard that they're putting on One Direction songs on later, by the way." My eyes shone as Oscar chuckled. "What do you think what songs they're putting on later?"

"Definitely Best Song Ever or Steal My Girl," I suggested, Oscar's hand tightening around my waist. I felt that he wanted Lando to leave us alone, and he got the note. He soon jogged away to join Lewis in a chat. "Oscar, what are you doing?"

"No one's going to steal my girl," He whispered. "Ever."

Later on, I had gotten way too dizzy to remember anything. All I remembered was that we had gotten too drunk, as taking bets on making shots. I missed the board while throwing darts, so I took three shots that made it up. I was soon taken over and uncontrollably danced like crazy with Oscar on the dance floor.

"O-Oscar, what's happening?" I stuttered as I almost tripped over, him catching me in time quickly. I sensed he had the same feeling as well, getting controlled by something unknown to us both. He shook his head.

"I-I don't know, don't ask me," The last thing I remembered was collapsing on his shoulder, then I immediately blacked out from the scene. Then there were glimpses of me on the bed being colder than usual, but I fell asleep anyways before I could figure it out.
