Everything was planned out.

It had already been three months into Ali's pregnancy, and Lando had helped us to plan out the whole gender reveal party. After recieving the balloon from the hospital, we were all set off except for one thing. The room door opened as I glanced up, twisting my fingers while biting my bottom lip nervously. The nurse in her blue uniform looked down at me and smiled sweetly, as the doctor followed behind her, sighing.

We were there for another look for the baby, and I desperately wanted an answer and to leave the hospital immediately. The nurse had clearly been flirting with me from the start as I had expected her, asking me to sign her work papers when I brought Ali to the hospital with me. It was as if she been targeting me.

"So, as the reports say," The nurse began, rolling her eyes at her husband's (the doctor) protests to let him to the start the report. "Your girlfriend and the baby is in absolute danger and needs to be in the hospital for two weeks in total- Tom, no!"

"I can have you fired, you know," Tom snatched the papers from her, as she angrily marched off to the staff room. "I don't know how we manage to keep this relationship anyways. I'll file my divorce papers in once you get everything done for today. So, they're perfectly fine, and I hear the gender reveal party's happening? Nice. So you can come in for the final scan before you both leave."

I followed him in to Ali lying on the bed, staring the x-ray screen while smiling and holding a hand on her stomach. I sat on the chair next to her as she gripped my hand gently. "How was everything again?" I whispered to her.

"Well, except for that nurse again." She narrowed her eyes towards the door. "Anyways, I've been told the baby's healthy and they're just giving you a clear and final look." I nodded, accepting the photos from the doctor which had shown the scan. The baby was getting bigger and bigger by size every month. "Are we free to go now?"

"Yes, if I'm sure of everything being all done," Tom grinned. "I wish you good luck on the gender reveal party and nothing goes wrong - I accept that you both think it's a girl. Pick your balloon up from the reception and we'll see how everything goes next time you come back. Have fun!"

"Tom's quite nice, isn't he?" I guided her out of the room, placing an arm around her waist and walked towards the reception. "I knew I had to pick him from the very start." They gave us a selection of doctors to pick from, and I chose him. One look and I knew.

"All thanks to you," She kissed me. "Let's go now."

Everything was planned perfectly.

It was held in the apartment's living room. Lando helped us to remove all the furniture and push it all to the bedroom, and we had just enough space for the table, balloons, boxes, drinks and food to be served. It was all pink and blue clothes. My family arrived just in time before Mila, preferably Lando's niece had the pin to pop the balloon.

The small girl waddled her way towards the balloons, the tiny and sharp pin in her hand ready and with one pop it would determine the gender of the baby. My baby. Lando picked her up so she could reach the height, and held out of hand reluctantly while shutting her eyes with fear. At last the pin reached the balloon, and a horrible popping sound was heard.

"Blue!" Mila screamed, while everyone celebrated, especially the people who wore the blue clothes. "I love blue!" Ali stiffled some sort of giggle and picked her up, carressing her cheek while she shared her moment with Lando. Blue confetti was everywhere.

"This is chaos," I muttered as I moved the furniture back to the lounge with Lando's help, who suffered under the weight of the table. Everyone left after a few hours of partying, and it was already six at night. He was due to go out for dinner with Max at eight, and had to return home to have just enough time to change into suitable clothes. "Right, you can go back now."

"Wait, you sure you can manage this by yourself?" Lando frowned as we both let down the table on to the floor, making a loud squeak which blasted around the whole apartment. "I mean, it's a lot of things, I don't think-"

"I'll manage," I grinned and forced him out of the apartment, as I wiped sweat off of my forehead and continued moving. After I had finished, I set myself on the sofa and took a shower to wash off all of the dust. I found Ali outside in the living room, feeding Theo and ruffling his fur. "You okay love?" I kissed her forehead, as she nodded and smiled.

"Just a bit tired after everything," Ali mumbled. "I can't wait to see her being born. It's been a real pain handling all the the things and caring about the baby's health. What do you want to name him?"

"Well..." My voice trailed off. "I'm crazy, we can name him Ethan."

"Too much memory and stress for me, I'd rather something I can manage with. Something that sounds nice and bad at the same time. Tyler?" I hesitated. Maybe it was a good name. Maybe it wasn't.

"It sounds nice, Tyler Piastri," I breathed. "What about Tyler Olive Piastri?"

"Sure," Ali smiled. "Now tell me a story that'll cheer me up."

"I'll tell you about my childhood then."
