*Ali's POV*
There's a reason why I'm often named as 'starter of the fight'.
I start fights, but never end them. The job to end it was usually placed in someone else's hands, not mine. That would be me and Lando. I sulked in the corner of his hotel room, him sighing and running his fingers through his hair every second. I grumbled at the habit of all the average boys in the world as he stared out at the sun.
We were about to head off straight to the airport for our next race, the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. I would be coming again, just to join my brother and then the Australian Grand Prix, but Lando had some strict rules after my 'date night' with Oscar.
"I didn't know you'd run off with him like that so suddenly, to the rooftop!" He glared at an empty wall, his clothes still neatly folded out on the bed, the suitcase hanging open. "You literally didn't ask for my permission. I'm fucking fuming right now, you know."
"Excuse me, brother," I stood up sarcastically, mocking his tone of anger. "You don't have control over me and I clearly don't care if you're fucking mad or not! I'm twenty-one this year, you can stop literally bossing me around with rules like I'm a baby. I'm a full grown adult and I can deal with this myself. Besides, it wasn't a date night! I just slept on his lap accidentally!"
"Yes, accidentally," Lando folded his arms together. "You could've at least told me-" His tone and expression softened, as I had shrunk fearfully back into my corner. "-Mum seriously told me to take care of you. As if I'm supposed to go against the damn rules. She's our mother. She gave birth to the both of us, Ali."
"I don't care," I sniffled. "You lot are going against me. I vowed to move out the first second I turned 18, and official adult. You were supposed to let me go back then! I'm not the sweet little girl that you had as a sister back when you were three!"
"Reminder, young adult," He muttered plainly. "Mum's orders. Pack your things, we're off. And don't think of sneaking out of the hotel or finding Piastri. Mum ordered that, it's not my fault."
"It is!" I threw my hands in the air crossly. "Seriously. You told her, so it is."
"It's not!"
"It is!"
"Not!"
"Is!"
"Um, sorry?" Oscar suddenly peeked through the open gap of the door as he gave me a quick wink and a smile. "Am I interrupting your sibling fight about me, or am I not? Cause' Lando's wanted by Zak. Like right now."
"I'll go," He quickly replied, rolling his eyes at me. "Now Ali-"
"Shut the fuck up!" I shouted as I grumbled and buried my face into my knees. The corner was where I wanted to be, no or yes. Lando sighed and threw all of his clothes into the suitcase and ran out of his door, forgetting to zip it up.
"You okay?" Oscar pulled his hoodie over his t-shirt as I nodded, still giving him the silent treatment. I turned red as I thought about what happened last night. My jumper still smelled of him clearly. "Sorry that happened. I should've told your brother first."
"I don't care about that little bitch boy," I said fiercely. "Just..." I broke down as he squatted down next to me, putting an arm around my shoulders as I sobbed. Again. How many times have I sobbed in front of this boy? Millions.
Then I realised my mistake. Looking up, the memories came back one by one. Amelia and me arguing. Us getting on the school bus. The car that kept nudging the school bus. Amelia staying in her seat, shutting her eyes. Us rushing to the hospital for a checkup. The last message.
"You okay?" Oscar asked again, trying to get his answer. I stood up as quickly as I could, pulling my shoes up and running out of the hotel. "Ali?"
"No, no, no..." I mumbled. "It can't happen again. My brother can't die."
"Ali, he'll be fine!" He caught up with me. This time I ran, sweat trickling down my forehead as I got down to the roads. Lando was just crossing to the other side of the street, not noticing his desperate sister. "Ali, look out!"
I was stupid. "Lando!" I yelled, unaware of the road, not looking left. "Lando, I'm so sorry for yelling-" Before I could finish my sentence, I was knocked off of my feet and flew out of the air as I screamed loudly. My body was slammed against some boards that were surrounding the construction site while Oscar yelled for my name, my brother sprinting towards me. I remembered a car door slam, my head throbbing with pain and Lando gripping my hand tightly before everything went completely black.
~~
*Oscar's POV*She looked so peaceful. At the same time, pained.
Lando had got there first, gripping his sister's hand tightly, not letting her go. The car owner spoke nervously and as quick as he could on the phone, as I had yelled her name while dashing across the road as fast as I could.
Ali was scared. She was frightened, I could tell. After the incident with Amelia, she was careful not to lose anyone again with her own mistakes. Ali realised her problem in fighting with Lando and tried to apologise to him before it was too late. We'd blocked the roads now, some of the car owners getting up and out to try and help us. I clutched on to her like Lando, not able to let her go so quickly.
Everything happened so fast. I didn't have time to pull her back.
My teammate was crying slightly under the influence of her sister and the crowd. I knew he didn't like showing much emotions all the time, but he couldn't stop himself. Lando kept mumbling silent prayers to himself, while some of the drivers actually appeared from the hotel. Charles wanted to comfort me and get me inside for some rest, but I kindly declined the offer. I would rather stay there, next to Ali.
Daniel was very much of a help. I was soon persuaded into getting inside and get some rest while they dealt with the problem, but I wasn't even resting. I packed up the rest of my bags, sitting down at the lobby and staring out of the window while Daniel tried to cheer me up with one of his jokes.
"Um, why did the chicken cross the road?"
"Why?" I didn't want to be reminded of roads.
"To get to the house on other side! Knock knock." Daniel grinned.
"Um, who's there?" I glanced up.
"The chicken!" Daniel had tried, but failed. I fake laughed, trying hard not to let him down. "Man, she'll be fine." The sirens kept coming closer as my heart's beating grew every minute. "Don't go outside."
"Why?" I panicked. "I-I need to see her. What if she's dying?"
"Oscar, man, trust me." He pleaded. "Please. She'll survive."
I nodded.
But the problem was, I couldn't.
I lied to keep Daniel at sake. But my heart was protesting silently.
I needed her. I wanted her.
It hurt badly.

Romansa"Ali?" The shocked face turned around as I tearfully nodded. There was a moment of silence and hesitation before he threw his phone on the bed, accepting the fact I was awake and hugging me tightly. "I love you so much." Gently he pressed his lips...
