Drake slammed the door behind him, forming two fists as he stormed into the room, slamming the bags of food onto the kitchen counter, he scanned the small room, his gaze narrowed toward the bedroom. The man sauntering into the room pushed through the threshold to see the bed was unoccupied. Checking his phone, Drake groaned and walked back into the kitchen, where he began putting food away before plopping down on the couch and scrolling through the channels, as remorse settled in the pit of his stomach. He shouldn't have screamed; Simon didn't know, and the younger guy couldn't have known since Drake was too afraid to allow that aspect of himself to come back into the light; losing Simon terrified Drake more than his past. The issue was that he had to decide right away, Simon. Alternatively, keep running. The older male glanced down at his phone, scrolling until he found the younger male's name, letting the phone ring. "Come on Simon, where are you?" He whispered.
After a couple of attempts, Drake pinched the bridge of his nose. "This is so stupid." He muttered glancing toward the window, listening to the rumble in the sky before grabbing his jacket and rushing out the door.

Simon rubbed his arms, looking across the busy street he'd been staring at for what felt like hours. He found himself inside an affordable bakery as it began to rain, the rain beating against the cobblestone walkway soothing the younger man immensely as he sipped his coffee. He groaned and switched his sight to the little stack of plates at the table's edge, looking down at his bulging tummy. He watched as the server approached his table, scooping plates and refilling his coffee cup. "Is there anything else I can get for you, my dear?" She questioned.
"Another slice of cake please. And maybe a muffin if you have any left." He answered, watching her leave.
When Simon's phone buzzed across the table for the millionth time, the man hurriedly locked it without glancing at it. He knew it was Drake; he wasn't angry at the other man any longer; he was more wounded because he didn't trust Simon enough to learn anything about him. Simon inhaled quietly as he finished the cake on the dish, and the waiter gently laid the plate down and smiled before immediately disappearing to another table. Simon ate the cake gently, avoiding the anguish that radiated through his sides. When he picked up his phone, he could feel tears pricking the corner of his eyes as he glanced at the photo of him and Drake.
Ten more minutes passed before it seemed to let up with the rain. Simon continued filling himself with small treats, until a hand on his shoulder startled him. "Sorry hon, it's closing time." The waiter informed him.
"S-Sorry." He apologized earning a laugh from the women. "I didn't mean to stay so long." He added rubbing the back of his neck.
"It's fine, I enjoyed your company. However, if I may interject. I believe you should call him and apologize. Nothing is worse than being separated after a quarrel." She suggested.
"How did you know that I was having men problems?" Simon asked.
The waitress smirked and shook her head, "I can tell with how your solemnly sitting alone." She said. Simon was silent for a long time before nodding. "Thank you..." He muttered as he raced out of the bakery, slamming a tip on the table.
Simon moved quickly down the bustling street, brushing past people as he examined the streets. Until he arrived at a huge antiques store and entered quickly. Simon strolled for 10 minutes before coming across a lovely dragon skull, which he delicately took up and gazed at for a few minutes while biting the inside of his cheek. He had no idea what Drake liked or disliked; all he knew was that he loved to fatten people up. Simon exhaled a hesitant breath before nodding and carrying the skull to the counter. He observed as the cashier wrapped the skull in colorful tissue paper and lovingly placed it in a little box after he paid.
Simon clasped the box in his arms as he kept shopping; as he walked out of the third store, the sky broke up and it began to rain again. The man began running back to the hotel, brushing off the rain in the lobby as he dropped his luggage on the lobby counter, letting out a slight grunt. He apologized as he dried off with a couple towels before gathering his possessions and hurrying up to his room. "D-D-Drake?" He requested that the bags be placed on the kitchen counter. Simon searched around the hotel room, finding the other male was nowhere, Simon blinked the tears back quickly, grabbing the bags and hide them in the closet before grabbing the box, writing an apology note, and set it on the table before rushing back down the stairs to the lobby.
"Have you seen the man I room with?" Simon asked panting softly.
The desk clerk arched an eyebrow cocking his head to the side before clearing his throat. "He left a little after you did sir," He answered.
"Did he say where he was going?" The male urged.
"I don't ask my customers where they're going very often, sir; have you tried calling him?" The clerk inquired.
"Right...Thank you anyhow." Simon sighed and returned to the room. The man slipped down the door, burying his face into his knees as hot tears streamed down his cheeks, closing the door behind him. Simon sat there for what felt like hours before he picked himself up and slowly walked into the kitchen. Grabbing a few food containers before walking into the bedroom, flipped the lid and started eating. The chubbier male ignored his stomach's protests as he continued eating, licking the ketchup off his fingers until he fell asleep with different condiments staining his t-shirt.
