— castiel. —

prepossessing big green eyes.
a constellation of freckles connecting like stars.
a smile that was brighter than a thousand suns.
sitting here with the light of the world.
it almost felt too good to be true.
dean winchester, the sun.

castiel can't keep count of the number of minutes that have passed as he's sat with dean, looking into forest green eyes, hints of golden, maybe a bit of grayish blue swarm around the irises. the term, to get lost in someone's eyes doesn't even reach castiel's reality of just how true that is, any time the term was used in movies or tv shows, it couldn't compare to the definition castiel brewed.

the reality of how nerve-wracking it is to have dean's green eyes on him for this long, it's like those pretty eyes are searching his soul, reaching for something. castiel quickly clears his throat, "i'll be back," he says to dean, whose smile falters to a frown, before grabbing the first aid kit and heading for the couch that raziel is on.

he agreed to help raziel stitch up his leg earlier before he sat down with dean, so in a way, this was the perfect way of getting out of a situation where he badly wanted to make some stupid mistake, castiel is already the reason that sam is upset with dean, so succumbing to his idea of kissing the human would make things much worse.

"can you believe this?" the boy sitting on the couch says, his icy blue eyes locked onto the television screen. castiel kneels, pressing his knee into the floor as he scrambled around the first aid kit before grabbing out some disinfecting wipes, gauze, and any other supplies. castiel looks up at raziel who's hugging onto his other knee, leaning his head onto his other knee. "believe what?" castiel asks, tearing open the package.

"cartoons." raziel replied a moment later, his eyes fixed on the screen. "there are so many, so many of them have such interesting plot lines. there's one about a sponge underwater, or the cat chasing the mouse, or the coyote or the runner, this is genuinely so entertaining. why doesn't heaven have cartoons?" raziel finally looked at the angel, his head was down, so his hair was swaying, shiny-looking dark curls falling into his face as he searched through the kit.

"i believe there are some heavens you can visit that have television." castiel replied, taking out the rubbing alcohol and the rag from the kit, and pouring it onto the cloth. he can feel raziel's eyes wander onto him, his stare feels like it's burning through him. this must be how dean feels when he looks at him too long. "but that's people's heavens. i feel like i would be infiltrating. also, check this out," raziel grabbed the remote and showed him, "you press these buttons so many different things happen to them! earth is insane, there's so much you can learn, and do."

castiel can't fight his smile. "this must've been how sam and dean felt when i was first introduced to the creation made by humanity." he whispered to himself, before looking up at raziel. he was pretty, he had porcelain-looking skin, and soft icy blue eyes that seemed blinding when in the sunlight. he had a soft voice, flower-pink lips when he smiled, and bright golden blonde hair that fell into his eyes, the ends of his hair liked to curl. he was pretty and sweet. had a smile that could light up a room.

"isn't it amazing?" raziel smiled, widely.

a beautiful angel with a smile that could light up a room, who had curly blonde hair and soft blue eyes, a boy who deserved the whole universe, and this boy was stupid enough to still want a life with someone who doesn't reciprocate. sometimes he can find himself thinking about how things were back then. when raziel was his second in command when he was in charge of an entire army of angels.
