The Owl House: Daughter of the Emperor

  Luz and Lilith were trying to think of a plan to free Eda, King, and Hooty from the Emperor while flying to the knee.

  "Luz, stop"

  "Stop what?"

  "Stop thinking so much, you will have a headache and won't be able to save our family if you keep overthinking!", "Well what can we do?! We can't do anything without a plan!" Luz yelled and criticised Lilith.

  "Have you ever thought that I may have a plan?" Lilith asked, acting all high and mighty.

   "Well why didn't you say that before?!"

  "I wanted to see if you would pay any attention to your surroundings, but clearly you haven't", "what does that have to do with any of this?!"

  "When we go to save Ed and the rest, we need to learn about strategy, technique, focus, and how to fight. Especially paying attention to our surroundings" Lilith said with a straight face, looking ahead.

  Luz put her head down and stared at her hands so she wouldn't be afraid of how high she was. Luz knew that she would need to know how to fight, but she hasn't had any training. "Do.... Do you think that you can....teach me? ONLY BECAUSE YOU WERE IN THE EMPERORS COVEN!" Luz asked, hesitantly. "Of course! I would be happy to help you train!" Lilith said, looking at Luz with an innocent smile.

   Luz knew that Lilith's smile meant something, but she couldn't put her finger on it.

  "We're here!" Luz yelled. The two made it to the knee, and started practicing with Luz's magic. Since Luz was taught only four glyphs and knew a few combo's, Lilith decided to experiment with the glyphs. Luz managed to learn six new spells thanks to Lilith and their time in the mountain.

  "Wait.... Why are we here in the first place?" Luz asked Lilith while grabbing firewood. "Well we can't where the guards will go again, since they knew we live there." Lilith replied. "Oh.... But now that I know more spells and I know to somewhat fight. We can go now!" Luz said with confidence, trying to get Lilith to join her.

  "Alright, if you think so, let's go", "wait what? I thought you were gonna be like "no you aren't ready yet, you still need more training""Luz mimiced. Lilith just stared at Luz not happy with her reply.

  "Alright I'll stop..." Luz said immediately stopping and went down into the pose most kids make when they get into trouble, and get caught.

  Time skip (I'm lazy okay?)

  Luz and Lilith finally made it to the palace and requested an entrance to meet the Emperor. Surprisingly they were allowed inside, little did Luz know who was watching.

  Luz walked inside with Lilith, following Kikimora. "It's been a while....and yet this place hasn't changed..." Luz said, feeling uncomfortable in the old halls she once used to roam.

  Kikimora looked at Lilith, who nodded to her and looked at Luz. Luz looked back at Lilith and had seen the expression to get ready for battle.

  Luz readied Eda's staff as they made their way into the throne room, being followed by three other guards. One guard was skinny, but their magic was impeccable. The second was large and tall, but his strength was stronger than Warden Wrath, such a shame they never battled. The third was short, and looked different, they looked like they could be a kid at Hexside.

   Lilith and Luz walked inside, Luz went into battle mode while Lilith just bowed down to the Emperor. "What are you doing?!" Luz whispered, loudly, to Lilith. "Shhh. We must start a fight so relax a bit", "But you signaled me to be ready!"

  "Did I?" Lilith questioned, already knowing the answer. Luz looked at Lilith, backing up, but the guards grabbed just in time. "Hey! What are you doing?! LET ME GO!!", "Sorry princess, but we only listen to the Emperor" one of the guards replied.

  "PRINCESS?! WHAT NONSENSE ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! I AM. NOT. A PRINCESS!!" Luz screamed using Owlbert to make a blast of light. The guards were stunned while Lilith had gotten up and pulled out her staff.

  "Luz, you are home. Join the Emperor, your father!"

  "He is NOT. MY. FATHER!!!" Luz screamed throwing fireballs and Icicles at Lilith and the guards.

  Lilith used a barrier spell to protect herself from the Ice and fire spell. "Luz! He raised you, therefore he is your father!", "HE ISNT MY FATHER! HE WILL NEVER BE MY FATHER!"

   Luz made an Ice shield around her and used a light spell to blind everyone. Luz ran from the room leaving everyone behind, but one.

  "GET HER!" Lilith screamed, commanding the guards to run after her. "And you, traitor..."

  Luz made it away from the throne room, but due to her body's memory, she entered her old room.

  "Phew.... What is this place? Oh..." Luz said, looking around her old room now covered in dust and cobwebs, except the bed.

  "You know, I personally stayed in here waiting for you, didn't expect it to be this long..." A voice said in the background. "Who's there?! Show yourself!" Luz yelled across the room, jumping around and facing the door. Luz turned around in circles observing her surroundings, listening to everything around her.

  "Chill! I won't hurt you. I could never bring myself too, especially after I made that promise", "What promise?" Luz asked as she heard a clank on the ground.

  There beneath Luz's feet was the bracelet she made for her cousin, Hunter. "Where did you get this?", "From you, eight, years ago*sigh*, I missed you." Said the voice.

  A figure came up behind Luz and hugged her. Luz stayed still, frightened that the person would do something until she felt her left shoulder becomes damp.

  There Luz saw behind her was an older Hunter, crying his heart out onto Luz's shoulder, hugging her. "Hu-hunter... HUNTER!" Luz whispered loudly, turning around and hugging Hunter back.

  The two kids hugged each other for a few minutes before splitting when Luz suddenly remembered why she was at the castle.

  "I'll help you get your new family back, but please stay safe, Okay?", "When have I ever not been safe?" Luz asked, but Hunter gave her a side-eye and Luz knew what he meant.

  "Okay okay, now let's go!" Luz cheered, grabbing Hunter by the arm. Hunter guided Luz to the conformatorium, where all prisoners are kept.
