SAYA ──────────── ' piled confessions '
—SAYA had been ignoring Jake with little success for the first month after reuniting. Not by choie, but he always seemed to be around, and disregarding his presence when his stupid pretty face was right there was nearly impossible— even when the acknowledgement of him was nothing more than a snappy comment or tearful argument.
Avoiding Jake was extremely easy the month after the infamous party at Jay's, though.
It was like June 2019 all over again.
One minute, Jake was sending her off to bed, and the next he had vanished off the face of the earth. Sunghoon had once told her that Riki was the one who ran off all of the time, but she was starting to think that Jake needed to be tied to a chair as well.
Not that she wanted him around— No, she was just confused by his sudden disappearance.
Saya didn't ask any of her friends about it, her fear of their reactions to her "concern" (which she refused to call it, but had no better word) towards Jake more powerful than her need to know what was going on with him.
In his defence, summer break was quickly approaching, and Saya doubted that Jake lost his academic drive when he moved. He was probably just studying.
Saya really needed to stop thinking about this.
On the bright side, she could now successfully go to the Park dorm without needing to prepare herself to brush past Jake! Just as she had done today.
To her surprise (and delight), Heeseung and Jungwon were there too. Heeseung was playing some game with Sunghoon while Jay and Jungwon watched in horror— both because of their bickering and the fact that the game had the worst graphics they'd ever seen.
Saya wasn't acknowledged as she came in, she usually wasn't. Now having a key, no one batted an eye when the girl decided to pay a visit. Jungwon was nice enough to give her a Pocky stick as she squeezed in beside him, though.
Sunghoon wasn't as big on games as Heeseung was, so it wasn't baffling that he was losing horribly. Sunghoon still had pride, though, and after Heeseung won his fourth consecutive round, Sunghoon had turned off his controller.
"I don't like this."
Heeseung snickered at Sunghoon's pout as the latter laid down on the couch. "Don't beat yourself up, Hoonie, you can't be the best at everything."
"Says you," Sunghoon sulked. He plopped his head down on what he thought was Saya's thigh, only realizing a good 20 seconds later that it was Jungwon's and springing back up.
Saya knew three things about Lee Heeseung: his favourite pastime was making girls flustered, he had a saddening addiction to League of Legends, and he was somehow able to do anything– and she means anything.
