I woke to find myself surrounded on all sides by fur. A leopard on my left, a tiger on my right, a fox at my head and a snake by my feet. My body was a little sore and the sense of safety and comfort was so great that if I didn't need to empty my bladder, I would have stayed snuggled against my family.

When I shifted to get up, one bleary blue eye opened to look at me.

"Sandbox." I patted Harvey's head as though telling him to keep sleeping. He closed his eyes.

I sat up and Winston stuck his tail into the air in a large stretch and spread his great jaws in a large yawn. He sat and rubbed his head against mine. I gave him some loving pets before getting up, wrapping a fur around me and moving to the rushing stream.

With the speed and volume of the water, it would be perfectly environmentally friendly to do my business in it. The river made me think about someday creating a bathroom with flowing water. It was only due to overpopulation and the building of dense cities that using rivers and streams for such bodily functions became bad for everyone nearby. Afterwards, I washed my face with fresh water and soap. I felt for the wound on my cheek but it wasn't stinging anymore. My fingertips moved across smooth, healed skin. I looked over at Lance and my eyes found the open box nearby. Inside was a rare collection of clear gems. I pondered the likelihood of Lance having given me the only one that could heal open wounds. An emerald.

I looked back over to my men. Besides Winston who was licking a paw, they were all fast asleep. It was as though they were just as tired as I was. It made me wonder if they had all stayed up until I fell asleep. I blushed a little at the thought of Winston and Harvey listening and waiting for things to have quieted down last night. My body felt clean so someone must have also cleaned me up after our mating. I blushed harder.

Kit was the next to wake. Realizing that I was no longer next to him, his eyes popped open and he searched the cave for me.

"Mom!" His ears perked up and his tail wagged happily as he bounded over to me. "Mom! Hungry!"

His little yips signaled the beginning of the day and Lance and Harvey both got up. Winston went out to catch something and Harvey left to collect some fruit or vegetables. They were back in minutes and we had our breakfast. Harvey presented me with a spiky fruit. It was just as good at cleaning teeth as a bristly branch was.

I asked Lance about the wound, and he confirmed my suspicion. He had fed me the one emerald from his stash. Harvey was visibly relieved, and I was truly grateful. Not only that, but my new mate also presented me with a forest green snakeskin dress. It was the most beautiful and elegant thing I had ever seen in this world. It showed off all three of my marks and clung to my body like a second skin. It hung diagonally from the right shoulder to my left ribs, leaving the left shoulder bare. The dress was long, stopping just at my ankles and a slit up the left side to my hip allowed for freedom of movement. Lance had also noticed my preference for keeping my lady bits covered, so he had fashioned a pair of underwear with strings that tied on the sides. The color contrasted with my hair making me feel like a jungle goddess. All the males, even kit, stared after I put it on.

"Momma! Pretty!" He yipped.

I decided that if I was going to wear such a pretty dress, my hair needed to match. So, I washed and combed my hair with my fingers. I made two braids that started at my temples before joining the rest of the hair in a very high ponytail. Then I looked at the men.

Both Lance and Harvey had long hair. Winston's ended at his jawline. They looked at me expectantly.

"Do you want me to do your hair too?" All four nodded. I giggled a little at Kit's response. "Alright."
