Chapter 4: Secrets of Blacktown Academy PT1

Amber was sitting in her classroom with people that she hardly knew, she checked the time realizing it was 3:45pm and the teacher hadn't shown up yet, she started getting anxious unexpectedly bouncing her leg up and down under the table that was until someone came over and sat next to her unexpectedly, Amber looked at whoever sat next to her, it was a girl with dark black hair with light purple eyes along with it, "Are you okay, miss?" she asks looking over at her calmly, Amber suddenly stops bouncing her leg, "Yeah, I'm just anxious that's all. I mean I am new here after all" Amber says "Oh yeah, I mean I've been there done that and I can tell your new here you seem like you needed a new friend to talk too since you're roommates aren't in here. I'm Amará Sterling, by the way. It's a pleasure to meet you and you are" Amará says in british accent and offers a hand with a smile on her face, Amber smiles at her confidence and accepts the hand offer, "Amber, Amber Baker" Amber says "Ahh...so like Amberlina kinda thing?" Amará asks complimenting her sweetly "Uhmm...thanks" Amber answers rubbing her neck nervously "Don't worry, it's just a compliment" Amará says with a smile "Oh well, thanks then" Amber says smiling with a blush, Amará smiled slightly, "You haven't changed one bit yet haven't you, Amberlina?" Amará asks, Amber looks over at her with confusion, "I'm sorry?" Amber looks at her with furrowed brows with confusion, Amará chuckles, "You really don't remember me, do you?" Amará asks, Amber shakes her head, "I used to be friends with you, your sister Ava & your brother Alexander" she helps her remember, Amber looks at her closely and starts to remember her, "No way, the Amará Sterling, the girl from the woods also the Raven Lover!" Amber says "There it is!" Amará exclaimed slamming her hands on the desk making a drumroll, "Now you remember me" she says, Amber never noticed anything about her or saw what was familiar about her before until she finally recognized her, Amará nodded her head with a smile on her face, "Good to see you again today since we have met again, Ava told me so many good stories about you and your life together with her even though we were only kids at the when we've met once, I was 6 years old and you were probably like 5 years old. I hear your 19 now after 14 years, you've changed since that day and night when I saw you" Amará explained everything to her, Amber smiles and saw something in her that made her feel better after being anxious all week of coming to Blacktown Academy and starting her first day of classes, "So how's Angel & Javier? I haven't seen them in so long since we were kids" she asks "Same old, their going to be having a newborn baby soon. It's a girl and they're going to name her Astra or Angelica" Amber explains everything "That's a cute name for a little girl, does she still make the best cookies?" Amará asks, Amber chuckles slightly, "Yes, she does" Amber says, Amará laughs, "You remember that one time you used to make your mom so mad at you when you didn't know that you had crumbs on your face and I had to wipe it off before she notices it" Amará says, Amber snickered, "Yeah, she was so pissed" Amber says, Amará smiles at her, "I was actually surprised at how quickly you were getting with those cookies like very close until she stopped you" Amará says, Amber laughs again. "I missed those days when we were kids" she added "Yeah..." Amber says softly then soon after the teacher comes into the classroom while they were talking to each other about their childhood and everything but from behind she felt as if someone had been staring at her for quite some time.

"Good afternoon students" the teacher says greeting them with a smile on her face, "Hi Mrs. Smith" everyone says greeting her, "So today in Geography, we are learning about how to make our own language better and history about the old town of Blacktown, Madras history but first I would like to introduce you to our new student her name is Amber Baker, she will be joining us today, please raise your hand darling so people can see you" she continues, Amber raises her hand all the students turned to face her that made them start murmuring and whispering to one another about her. "I can't believe we have to be stuck with her because of her brother and sister, they were such imbeciles and weirdos" a student whispers behind her to the other person, everyone from behind starts cackling, Amber wasn't too far away from them neither was Amará since she knew who they were, she leaned over towards Amber who was listening closely after hearing smack about her family how they were imbeciles also weirdos, "Don't listen too them, they are jealous that they figure out how they used their powers before they did and their worried you might too" Amará says calmly that made Amber smile at her, "What did you say about me, princess?" the person says from behind them said, Amber & Amará turned to their attention from behind, Amber saw that they have blue and red hair with the same uniform as her which was blue jacket with a white button up shirt underneath their jacket along with a black tie, "Why don't you ever shut up, Blaine?" Amará asks "It's not my fault that your precious relationship went downhill with Ava or was it Alexander when they left you here alone" Blaine says, Amber looked at her in confusion because of what he was talking about when they were together but before Amará could take her anger out on him but someone butted in their conversation immediately before saying something to him, "Just shut up already, Blaine. We all know your a werewolf and Ava was a good seeker as a beowulf or maybe a Grendel. Oh and that she sees spirits unlike you ever have" they told him off, Amber looked at them in complete shock as if she knew them, Blaine balled his fists after hearing what they said to him, "How about you shut your mouth or I'll make you, Edmónd that includes minding your own damn business" Blaine tells him off "Oh please, you can't threaten me because I'm a empathetic plus I read minds, I can sense anything so empath is telling me that you feel like you owe this school but jealous at the same time because of the mention of Ava & Alexander now Amberlina, bold move man but it's not worth it" Edmónd says, Blaine growled at him in front of them, "I would be careful if I were you" he warned him, Blaine looks at him in confusion not understanding what he meant, "Mr. Lopez!" Mrs. Smith calls out, Blaine immediately looks over at Mrs. Smith, "Y-Yes?" Blaine stuttered "Told ya" Edmónd whispers and winks over at the two girls who were sitting quietly, Amará smiled at him thankfully, "Why are you being disruptive to the class?" Mrs. Smith asks angrily "Wha-I'm not even doing anything, Mrs. Smith. It's Edmónd he's the one doing the job" Blaine argued "That's detention for you Mr. Lopez for blaming another student" Mrs. Smith says "Whatever, who cares anyway?" Blaine says huffing, Mrs. Smith turns back to the board and leans over towards Amber's ear, "This isn't over" he whispers to her especially Amará heard it as well, she goes mad after hearing he said something to her and started getting worried for her safety while listening to the teacher someone tapped onto Amber's shoulder that made Amber look to her right, she saw it was someone with a red beanie with cropped hair along with a blue jacket with a white button up shirt underneath his jacket along with a black tie along with it same as her uniform, "Don't worry about him, he won't do anything to you, he's just going through some shit especially since they let Ava and Alexander out early 2 years ago, don't take it very personally" they said, Amber noticed it was a boy with dark blackish hair with deep crystal blue eyes along with it, "I'm Ameér, by the way. I'm a friend of your brothers, it's a pleasure to meet you" he offered a hand to shake it, Amber accepts it and shakes it, "He's my brother just so you know" Amará whispers to Amber, Ameér nodded his head for an agreement with a smile, Amber was too stunned to speak after hearing that they were siblings. "You probably don't remember me because we were only 5 years old when we met, I remember we used to play together like board games and everything else, I also remember that you used to steal your mom's cookies" Ameér says laughing so was Amará, Amber blushed embarrassed, Amará elbowed her arm laughing "Oh come on, we missed you through the years don't be embarrassed" Amará says, Amber starts laughing at her so did Ameér, they loved each and every moment she had with them when they started talking about their childhood memories together.
