Chapter 5: Secrets of Blacktown Academy PT2

"Look, down" Amber says pointing down underneath the group, everyone shined their lights down on the ground with looking at what she was pointing at dumbfounded, Amber looks at them blankly, "What..." Amará says "The..." Emerson says the second part of the sentence, "Heck..." Emberly finishes the sentence, the three looked down where Amber was pointing at, "What is this supposed to be?" Amará asks as she kneeled down, Amber shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know, I just found it laying here. My guess is that it's probably supposed to be a door" Amber answers, Emberly & Emerson looked at each other as if they were hiding something from them but they weren't hiding anything from them, "We should see what's insi-" Emberly was interrupted by Amará, "Wait hang on before going that far, check this out" Amará stops her from saying anything else "There's a craving on the door like it was from years ago" she says, Amber kneels down next to Amará to look at the craving, Amará brushes off the leaves that was hiding the craving from the door, everyone shined their lights at the craving that was written down, "Stay out unless you want a death wish" Amber reads out loud when all of sudden they heard rustling from behind, Amber looks behind her and smelt something strange from behind her, "Come on, let's go! We gotta hide now, it's getting closer" Amber whispers to them, the three all turned to her direction to look at her with furrowed brows in confusion, "What?" she says looking at them the same way they were looking at her when all of sudden they heard rustling getting closer, "We gotta go, now", the three nod their heads understandably. Amará tries to opening the door on the ground but after a moment, Amber kept looking behind her making sure no comes near them when all of sudden something happen that change through her veins, she felt something in her hands popping out of them, Amber looks down and gasps, Emberly heard her so she turned to her attention and heard her hyperventilating, "Damn it!" Amará hits the door on the ground "It won't budge" she says aggressively, Amber starts remembering something inside her head and image of an older woman smiling at her, "Use your powers, darling..." a voice says whispering to her, Amber turns her head around looking behind her making sure who was talking to her, Emberly starts to notice it and went over toward her to hold her hand to help her out by holding a grip of her for support, "Amber..." Emberly's voice echoed through her mind calmly, Amber shook the feeling off her mind and came back to reality, "Amber?" she repeated again with a regular voice, Amber looks at Emberly after snapping out of it, Emberly set her free hand on her shoulder, "Are you alright?", Amber nods her head, Emberly sighs in relief and smiles softly at her. "We can't get this door open" Amará says hitting the door "Let me try" Amber says, everyone looks over at her in confusion especially Emberly who wasn't just as confused as the two girls but concerned for her safety, Amber pushes Amará away from the door, "What are you going to do? I've already tried using as much strength as I possibly can" Amará asks getting snarky with her but Amber ignores her snarky comment, Amber focuses on her own strength and struggles to open it, everyone starts getting confused with her actions that was when heard a noise of the door opening on its own, everyone looked at Amber dumbfounded when she opened the door that was on the ground, "How did you do that?" Emberly asks, Amber looks down at her hands realizing there were claws poking out from her hands she started realizing something was off about herself so did Amará, what was wrong with her? Amber saw that they came back inside of her hands, "Amber" she says waiting for an answer from her, Amará started to realize pretty quickly that the same thing happened with Ava & Alexander when they were here, "Those are the claws of a good seeker as a beowulf or maybe a Grendel" Amará says, everyone looked over at her in shock noticed how she knew what it was, "How'd you know?" Emerson asks "No time for questions we need to hide now" Amará answers, Amber nods her head for an agreement, Emberly looks at Amber in concern for her own roommate and decides to follow instructions for her safety along with everyone else in front of her, they all jumped down into the opened door.

Amber watches as everyone was just heading inside of the door, Amber closed it very quickly before anyone notices what they have found in middle of the forest, she climbed down to where everyone was standing and waiting on her so they could search for clues together, Emberly was just standing there looking up at Amber to make sure everything was okay, "That was close one" Amará says sighing in relief, Emerson looks around and sees something that shocked her that was unfamiliar to her about the place, "Uhh...Guys..."Emerson says softly looking up shining her flashlight at the picture frame with full of family, Amber hears her from a distance climbs back down from the ladder, Emberly & Amará both help Amber down from the ladder to make sure she doesn't fall off, "Guys!" she repeats by turning her head around to get their attention, they all start looking at her and walked over toward her to see what she was looking at, they all looked at it in shock and speechless to say anything about the picture including shining their flashlights at the picture frame, "Holy Shit" Amará blurted out "Isn't that..." Emberly pauses "Me?" Amber finishes the sentence for her, everyone starts looking at her where she stands there frozen staring at the picture frame in shock while looking at the picture frame wondering if Amber was apart of the picture frame with people? "These are my parents" Amber says, everyone looks at her individually, Emberly touches her arm for comfort when she sees the picture of her as a child, Amará shined through the whole area and looks around where they were at until she spoke, "Guys, I have a bad feeling about this" Amará says in fear and continues walking around seeing what she sees until she saw a clean room, "GUYS..." she shouts to get everyone's attention to look behind them and noticed that Amará had gone missing, "YOU GOTTA, COME SEE THIS!". Amber follows the shout from behind, they all shined their lights to where Amará was standing at and saw a bedroom full of pictures, "What the hell" Emberly says softly, Amber looks at the pictures until she sees something that stunned her, she picks the one of the pictures from the wall, "This is me and my family" Amber spoke then put it back on the wall, Amará walks behind her so did Emberly except for Emerson, she was just looking around until she could hear something from behind her which made her gasp and tense up, she quickly went up to them, "Guys, quick we gotta hide!" Emerson tells them, they all looked started looking over at her in confusion, "Someone's coming inside" she says, they all started panicking and hid behind the wall, Amber started breathing heavily after struggling to find a place to hide for her that was until she felt a cold touch on her arm pulling her against them, Amber almost started to scream "AIEE-" Amber was interrupted by a touch covering her mouth almost immediately before she started screaming, "Shh...it's okay, it's just me" they said calmly, she breathed slowly after hearing their calm voice, she looked up to see who it was, she saw it was only someone with pink hair along white with dark pink streaks with a birth mark on her left eye, "Emberly..." Amber whispers to herself while turning bright red because of Emberly's physical touch close to hers same with Emberly, they both started taking a sneak peek of who came inside of where they were, "We need to get out of here" Emberly whispers "I know but we can't" Amber whispers back, Emberly looks at her in confusion until they started turning their head around to their attention, Amber & Emberly gasps to move back into their position for hiding behind the wall to have no one see them. "Whose there?" Amber got a little tensed when she heard them say something as if it looked familiar to her, they heard footsteps walking towards them, "I'm not going to ask again; whose there?" they repeated once again but this time the footsteps got closer than before, Amber opened her mouth as she was about to breath but before turning to their direction, Amber tackled them onto the ground, "AMBER!?" Emberly tried reaching out for her, "OW!" they hissed at her, Amber took closer look at who she just tackled, it was the same person from earlier this afternoon, she saw it was someone with a red beanie with cropped hair along with a blue jacket and the white button up shirt underneath their jacket along with a black tie along with it same as her uniform with dark blackish hair inside of the red beanie with deep crystal blue eyes along with it, she opened her jaw recognizing them pretty quickly that made everyone come out of their hiding spots to see who she just attacked, "Ameér!" everyone was surprised that it was him sneaking around like the same way as them, "Amber?" Ameér says "What the hell" Amber says pushing him aggressively as she got up from the ground to stand next to Emberly with Amará & Emerson next to them, Amará next to Amber and Emerson next to her sister, "I could say the same thing to you after seeing you guys here doing something stupid" Ameér says "What are you doing here?" Amará asks, Ameér gets up from the ground, "I should be asking you the same question, why are you out here late it's past curfew, you know you shouldn't be out here?" Ameér asks with his arms crossed looking at them angrily, "What are you trying to do stalk us now?" Amará argued "So what if I am? I'm looking out for you and Amber like I promised I would one day if she ever transferred here" Ameér argued back "Oh please, we all know you just want your childhood crush back into your mind" Amará blurted out, everyone looks at them dumbfounded including Amber, Ameér hesitates for a moment before responding as he was trying to ignore the last part of their argument, "Let's just go head back before we get caught with whoever has been living here" Ameér sighed defeated knowing he would never speak terms into her letting her know what happened back when they were all kids, "That's what I thought" Amará says "You won't admit it" she says bumping into his shoulder purposely shoving him a little bit harshly, Amber wasn't sure what was happening with them or what they were talking about and everyone started following them.
