"I can't believe you agreed to help the Mikaelsons!" Another witch yelled at Chris

"I can't believe you agreed to help the Mikaelsons!" Another witch yelled at Chris. She was more of the head of the coven. "We could have taken them down earlier. But you gave in."

Chris had his head down, unable to look into her eyes as she yelled at him. He knew the coven wouldn't be happy with his decision. He looked up, "Yes, we could have. But what after that? The moment we let our guard down, they'll start killing people. If we help them, then they'll leave."

"Since when do we let threats form our decisions? Especially threats from vampires; from Mikealsons." The witch questioned.

"Since I decided gambling on New Salem's people's lives wasn't worth it!" Chris shouted with a shake of his head. He continued at a calmer level, "And after what I heard Klaus say."

The girl let out a short laugh as she backed away from Chris, "So the hybrid has 'suaded you?" She pointed at Chris, "I expected better from you, Christoper."

"He didn't ''suade' me," Chris made quotations in the air. "I still think he's a homocidal hybrid. But I'm starting to think that, maybe, Klaus Mikaelson being with his daughter, is the best thing for this world." The other witch sighed, then she looked at him, waiting for his reasoning. "Agatha, he seemed to genuinely care about his child.. and he's apparently trying to turn over a new leaf-."

"A new leaf?!" Agatha quickly interrupted, looking at Chris wide-eyed. "Oh, please! That child is probably just a power grab to him!" She slammed her hand on the counter. "You're on your own, Chris. I will not bow down and follow their demands. Neither will the rest of New Salem's witches."

"Please! Agatha, I can't undo the spell without the coven's help-," Chris begged.

"You can't undo the spell at all. It's permanent. The best chance we'd having at serving it is by being in the same room with that girl." Agatha stated. She turned and walked away, "New Salem doesn't stand behind you on this, Christopher." Agatha stated, not accepting Chris's request.

"They said no," Chris informed with an aching feeling in his stomach due to how nervous he was to share unwanted news to the Mikaelsons. He met them back at the house they'd compromised at.

"I do hope you have a plan B," Klaus raised his eyebrows and said in a scarily calm voice. He was going to continue with a threat before he felt something in his pocket that wasn't there before. Rebekah looked at her brother with confusion as to why he stopped talking. Chris eyed Klaus' hand as it inched into his pocket. The hybrid pulled it out. He looked at it in confusion. It was of him and Hope... but how did it get there? Rebekah walked over to Klaus and hovered over the picture, just as confused, until the hybrid flipped it over. An address in New York City. Chris bit his lip, waiting for what Klaus would say now. "I guess that spell of yours wasn't so permanent after all. It seems a miracle has just fallen on your doorstep, Chris," Klaus patted Chris' shoulder and walked past him. Before he stepped out of the room, he threatened, "Ever aid in keeping my daughter from me ever again, and I will make sure you don't live to breathe another day."
