Allysa's POV:

I stood at the door with tears in my eyes. Bella is finally back. I missed her so much. She knows everything about me. The only person I could ever trust enough to show the real me and still not be judged. I went running towards her to hug her tightly, but she pushed me away. She looked at me with so much hurt in her eyes. There were unshed tears that she was controlling with all her might. I looked at her sadly. "I'm so sorry, Bella. I know I should have come to you, but you don't know the amount of unbearable pain I was going through. I just lost it. I'm so sorry." She turned her head away and just looked at the ground. "It's your choice, Isa. I just wanted to know if you're doing okay. I'll get going now." She turned around to leave. NO! NO! NO! NOT HER AS WELL!

I started crying and went to her again. I grabbed her by her wrist and tugged at it. "Please listen out to me. I know you'll understand. Please Bella!" I said to her between sobs. She sighed and turned around to face me. She took my face in her hands and looked at me intently. "Oh Isa, what would I ever do with you." Finally, she hugged me. I hugged her back tighter. I'll never let her go. She saved me. She is more like my elder sister than just best friend. She pulled back and I could see the stain of dried tears on her cheeks. She cried while hugging me. She never cries though. I felt a pang of guilt in my chest. I made the only person who loves me cry as well.

I turned towards Alex. He was watching the both of us with so much attention. "Do you mind if she stays with me for a while?" He shook his head. "Not at all, princess." He turned towards her and shook her hand. "Please make yourself comfortable." I don't know if it really happened, but I think I saw him giving her a smug smile while she grunted in irritation. I must have been imagining. They have never talked to each other before. So, we finally went inside the house, and I showed her around for a while.

Zane came out of the office and whistled. "Heya Isa, who is this beautiful lady with you?" Bella looked up at him and scowled. "Don't even try, you already seem annoying to me." His eyes widened while I chuckled. "Yeah whatever, I wasn't trying anyways. I was just being polite." She gave him a smug smile. "Sure, sure" He glared at her, and she glared back. Oh boy, I guess they are gonna lock horns with each other now. Marcus appeared from behind and looked at the two. "Who is she and what the hell are they doing?" I shook my head. "This is Isabel, my best friend and I think they are in some kind of staring contest." Marcus formed an 'O' shape with his mouth. "So, finally the best friend returns." He poked Zane. "What happened buddy? Getting rejected?" Zane scowled and I laughed. Bella smirked and said, "Yeah, both he and his small-ass ego." Marcus started laughing. "Damn girl, I like you!" Bella smiled. "I think you are the only decent person I have met here in this house." He stood there with his chest out proudly. "I know I'm the best!" Alex came from behind me and wrapped his hand around my waist. "Don't you think you are a tad too judgmental?" She whipped her head around at his voice. "Aw, did the feelings of My Highness got hurt?" Zane laughed so loudly at this. "Finally, someone came to put Alex in his place." It was now Bella's turn to stand proud. All 4 of them started arguing then about random shit, screaming and laughing in between.

I clapped my hands. "Alright, enough of it all of you. Let's go have dinner now." They all looked at me confusingly but reluctantly agreed as I glared at them. Alex leaned down and whispered in my ear, "You look cute when you're bossy." I tried to glare at him but end up being all red at his compliment and his hand squeezing my hips. He laughed at me. Bastard. I slapped his hand away. But he yanked me back to his side and held me tighter as we walked to the dining room. I'm sure I am completely red and looking like a tomato right now. We all took our seats and sat down to eat. There was an easygoing vibe around us by now, so the dinner went okay. Although, I could see that Bella was still upset. I owe her an explanation. So, after the dinner, we all decided to head to our room and call it a day.
