I gave myself a moment to collect myself before heading down to begin decorating the hall with the rest of the staff. I walked into the hall and was greeted with a hug by Dovey and Helios. 

I look around at the hall and begin to think of where to put the tables and how to set them up, after all it is both evers and nevers, light and dark. ''Okay, everyones attention please, group photo for before and after!'' Dovey excitedly shouts to us all so we go and stand together, Dovey set up a camera on a tripod and hit the timer before sprinting back to us all. Dovey was next to Helios followed by Emma, myself and Lesso who just as the timer was going off whispered in my ear ''So, be my date tonight?'' Which gained a rediculously huge smile from me before I excitedly just replied ''I would love to''. And the camera went off, Dovey went to look at it and she looked confused. ''what is it Dovey?'' I ask her now walking closer to her and the camera. ''Lesso is smiling, that never happens'' She shows me the photo and it hits me that I didn't get to see her reaction. A huge smile plastered across both of our faces, nearly enough to get us an A+ in beautification, ew. 

''I was simply thinking about all the chaos tonight will be, that's all princess'' Lesso says now genuinely thinking about if a fight were to break out. ''Let us begin to decorate, I have some music that we can play as we decorate, if anyone needed a reminder of their duties,  Ignes you are on table decoration duties, Helios as on room decorations'' Dovey was on general making sure everything was wonderful and Lesso was in charge of ceiling decorating. She clapped her hands together and the magic began. 

I had decided to combine the beauty of light and darkness with sunflowers mixed with black roses, the candles were black with a blood red centre that is revealed once it has been lit, for the light part I have added some opal drink glasses for a hint of colour. Simple yet worked really well. As I was nearing the end of my tables I looked around. Helios had placed silver and black streamers from the balconies of the hall, black and white banners that swung like rope from each side of the hall. Dovey had added some flowers spilling off the balconies and some more flowers on my tables. Lesso had somehow turned the ceiling into a night sky, complete with the moon and stars, the occasional shooting star every few hours. 

After about 4 hours of decorating we all finally stood back and looked at what we had created. A wonderful mixture of each staff member's talent as well as the students'ideas. ''Wonderful work everyone, now go and get sorted and meet me here at 6 so we can get that other photo of us all and light the candles!'' Dovey practically squeeled when she saw the room all come together. I quickly looked again at the photo, everyone looked so happy and we looked so cool with our hands all glowing different colours, like some kind of rainbow. 

''Ignes you have been staring at that photo for a while, don't you want to get dressed?'' Lesso said placing a hand on my shoulder. ''Yes, sorry- lets go!'' Me and Lesso leave the hall and head off towards our shared dorm. ''Okay so I need to shower, then do my hair, then makeup and... oh, Leo I might need you to help me with my corset later'' I say as I rush around to grab my hair tools and place them on the black vanity that stood in front of a large window. ''Yes I will help you, but be warned I tie them in a way that may crush your ribs'' She smirks again, god can she ever not stop thinking about causing pain. 'well I would look thinner' I thought to myself. ''Lesso I am not one to kink shame but damn you love pain'' Her smirk only grew at my words. 

''Okay I am going to shower now and Leo, please refrain from looking at me through the door again'' Her eyes went wide with the realisation that I saw her look at me a few weeks ago while I was showering. ''Oh yes, I knew you were doing that'' I add along with laughter. I take my towel and turn the shower on. Washing my hair with a black cherry scented shampoo. I quickly finish my shower and wrap the towel around my body as I head to the vanity.
