How to save a life

As Lady Lesso cried tears of sorrow, one of those tears landed on Ignes' face, intertwining with the tear that had just left Ignes' eye, the power of love maybe wouldn't be enough to save her...

The tear that had fallen from the dean was one of love, pain and fear. The same as the tear that fell from Ignes's eye. Ignes knew she was dying, her heart could never be whole... or could it...

*Ignes's dream POV*

I opened my eyes to see my father stood over me, ''Ignes why are you back here so soon, you are so young, your soul isn't old enough to arrive here'' He looks sad. ''I fell in love, but I can see that my moment of weakness has killed me. I am so sorry father'' I say as I begin to cry. 

The pain in my chest is still causing searing pain, I feel weak again. ''I knew this day would come, but I need to show you something Lillith, something I promised myself I wouldn't, but it is time'' 

My father never breaks a promise, oddly enough. So I agree, hoping that he could save me if I went along with him. I take his hand in mine and close my eyes, I can see what Rafal did to me, how he took out my heart and soul and slashed it in half, the pain comes back to me as I watch it over and over. 

Rafal then took the 2 halves of my heart and soul and disappeared, but this time... we went with him. He arrived in what looked like a lovely town. ''Lillith, this is Gaveldon, I should have told you a long time ago but I thought you weren't ready...'' He says with a sigh.

Rafal appears high up in a tree in a small forest which has a pathway through it, a young girl with red curly hair was walking through. We watched from afar as the girl was approached by Rafal. ''Hello, I was wondering if you could help me, I am starving and I can see that you have some food'' The young lady was confused ''Yes, I was just comming from town, this is all I have I am afraid and I need it for my family'' She tried to be polite about it. 

''Well, what would you say if I could promise you that I can return the favour, you would no longer be bullied, riddled with anxiety and... you would fine true love'' Rafal knew exactly what the girl wanted. ''Oh yeah... suuuure you can do that. I would love to find true love but it doesn't just happen like that. If you are that starving you can have my bread that I got, sorry I can't help any more'' 

''Thank you my dear, and as promised here is my thanks'' He hands her a little box, in it are two rings, I manage to get a closer look, One of them is in the shape of a half heart and the other is a white shining diamond. ''Wow they are beautiful, thank you uh... sorry, what is your name?''

''Rafal my dear, and yours is?'' 

''Leonora, Leonora Lesso'' 

And suddenly the world went black again, I was no longer in hell, or with my father, or awake... 

*Lady Lesso's POV*

It has been hours, Ignes looks no different, still white and cold. I have given myelf a headache from crying, Dovey has tried to pull me away from her but I can't leave. I can't leave until she wakes up!

''Ignes I don't know if you can hear me but please, I am so sorry I have never told you how I really feel. From the moment I met you, you had this perfect balance of angelic and demonic chaos in your smile. Your eyes made a world of your own and I was thankful to see into that world for a small moment. But right now I need you here, with me, in this world, in OUR world. So please Ignes, open those eyes because I... I love you Lillith'' I begin sobbing again as I collapse next to her, holding her cheek in my hand and stroking her hair again. 

I finally decide that I need to tell Dovey, Ignes has gone... 

''Please forgive me'' I say as I kiss her for the last time, all of my love and pain is sealed in this kiss.

 Dovey watches with tears in her eyes as a shooting star shot across the sky Lesso had created. 

I force myself off the floor as I walk over to Dovey who has been keeping an eye on me for the past 3 hours. 

''Shhh Shhh Lesso, I need to ask you something, do you know what happened?'' Dovey looks at me, too scared to completely break me. ''She had a curse placed on her to cause her eternal suffering and to die if she fell in love'' I say between gasps for air. ''Oh the poor woman, Lesso I think you should go and get yourself changed into something comfy and I will stay here with her'' 

Dovey places a hand on my back as she guides me out of the room, I can't believe the one woman I love has gone... I walk up to my dorm, which was our shared dorm and break down, her stuff is all here and I just want her to walk through that door right now. I get changed and I feel my eyes betraying me, before I know it I had drifted off to sleep. 

''LESSO, COME HERE QUICK!'' 

*Doveys POV*

I walk over to Ignes on the floor, I drop down beside her and begin to stroke her back ''Ignes I am so sorry, I wish I had known. We will all miss you so so dearly, I have never seen Lesso smile let alone be this happy since... well... I think we all know since when. She truly loves you, I don't care what they say, Nevers deserve true love too, You and Lesso should have had your happily ever after. She needs you here'' 

I sit and wait, nothing happens, I just sigh, I wish I had gotten to know Ignes more, she could have been a true friend. ''Rest well my dear'' I say as I put her hand in mine, I squeeze it a little hoping that something might have changed. 

I felt a hand weakly squeeze my hand back. 

''Ignes!? Oh my- LESSO, COME HERE QUICK!'' I scream, hoping Lesso could hear...
