The truth comes out

I finish my last class, turns out they are fascinated by harvesting elements for your own evil. My class was particularly great at harvesting the air elements. ''Class dismissed, see you all tomorrow''. They leave and I sit at my desk for a while doing some marking that was needed, the work was starting to pile up now and so were my old issues that I had kept hidden away for so long. The ball was in 2 days time, I had just become the dean of evil and was now falling quickly for Lady Lesso, I still kept my identity hidden, my father had contacted me a few nights ago asking how everything was going but I couldn't tell him the truth, no weaknesses for evil right?

''Hey there Ignes, how about that truth elixr now?'' I jumped until I turned to see Lesso leaning against the door, 'my god she looks so gorgeous stood there' ''Lesso you scared me, I have a little bit of paperwork to get through then we can'' She walked into my classroom with a grin on her face. ''You need a hand? I can help if you want?'' ''I got it, thank you Lesso, you can sit here until I get it done and keep me company if you'd like?'' I say drawing my attention to the woman who was sat before me staring at the glass bottle of blue sparkling liquid. ''mmhmm, I'll stay and wait'' She said, clearly distracted by the fluid in the glass, I let out a little giggle while looking at the redhead. 

It took an hour but I was finally done with the pile of work, this would only double and triple in a few days time. ''Okay Lesso, lets go to my room and get this over with, why are you so eager to do this?'' I stepped away from my desk to look at her. ''I want to know the truth, even if I can't remember what I hear or what I say, if we are going to be deans we need full truth on both parts so we have nothing that can fall apart, we need a steady foundation.'' I look at her for any lies, I can't find any. She really wants this to work out. ''Okay, thank you for being honest.'' I smile at her. 

We head to my room and we get inside. ''The truth elixr lasts an hour, it drains you so if you need I would recommend getting something to sleep in or you can just wear something of mine if you want to?'' I don't pay much attention to the invitation I have just given the other woman, I don't think she realises what her response tells me. ''Wow you must be desperate to see me in your clothes'' Lesso smirks then her smile drops immediately, she clears her throat then quickly moves. ''Sorry I don't know where that came from, that was inappropriate.'' ''It's okay Lesso don't worry, anyways should we get on with this? Pre warning it tastes pretty bad so I would reccomend drinking it then drinking something else, I have some homemade lemonade, ill go get it'' 

I walk into my small kitchen and get the lemonade out of my fridge, I pour us both a glass before heading back to where Lesso is. ''here you go, okay so as it I only made a small amount we can split this bottle of the elixr and be fine, who should go first or should we just mix them with the lemonade and drink it at the same time?'' I look at lesso and she agrees we should drink it at the same time. We both take a deep breath, look at each other in the eyes and drink it. 

''Okay so it takes 5 minutes to kick in, you may feel slightly sick but you won't throw up I promise'' ''You sound like you have done this before'' She jokes. ''uh, well it wasn't by choice'' I say, shying away slightly. ''you got drugged with a truth elixir? what!?'' She said shuffling closer, now sitting beside me. ''My ex, I refused to tell him things about my past so he forced me, I woke up and he knew everything, I couldn't remember telling him anything then I saw the bottle in his hand'' I say swallowing the bitter taste that had made its way into my throat. ''Oh Ignes I am sorry'' Lesso just looks at me with pitty.

''Okay I feel a bit sick now'' Lesso says, taking deep breaths to get through. ''Same here, just breathe you will be fine, should we start the conversation lightly and in a few seconds it will kick in'' She nodds so we begin with a small question, ''what did you think the first time you met me compared to now?'' 

''Well, when I first met you I noticed your eyes, they held a lot of pain but I didn't want to bring it up, you came off as cocky and I didn't appreciate the attitude much, okay now you and now hopefully by the time we get to the now part we will be under the effects of the elixr'' Lesso says ''Okay, when I met you I noticed your hair and how it was so similar to mine, as if we were destined to meet by fate, but I thought you hated me and there was part of me that was terrified of you but also I didn't like how entitled you seemed, how cold you came across.'' I stopped, feeling that dizziness wash over me, I was now under the trance and by seeing lessos wide eyes, so was she, time for the truth.

''i never meant to come across as cold, I was worried you were here to take my position as dean, but since the first day I spoke to you properly I knew that you were sent by some wonder of the universe for me. Your eyes show how much pain you are in and I heard you talking to someone in the bathroom and my heart dropped because you knew rafal and that scares me. He hurt me and I will not let him hurt the woman I am quickly falling for. You deserve the world Ignes and I hope we can find time to spend together my flame, I have always admired you from afar and been stunned by your power and beauty.'' Lesso kept eye contact through the whole talk. 

''Lesso, I could never take the place of such an incredible woman, you are a fantastic dean and I am terrified I can't live up to your abilities, I have nearly died so many times at my own hands because of my magic, it hurts me to use it since Rafal stole part of my heart and soul and threw it into the real world. I believe we were meant to meet, fate if you will, and I am falling in love with you with each passing day but I can't love anyone with half my heart and soul unless I want them to suffer the same fate as me.  I notice you in the shadows and I want you to step into the light when you do, no more hiding Lesso, I want to spend time with you. Talk about beauty, you are the hottest woman I have ever seen.''  I say feeling a blush creep onto my face and seeing Lesso's face becoming redder too. 

We sit there for a moment before Lesso breaks the silence. ''You have no idea how much I want to kiss you right now, Your eyes are so calming, like a mixture of the most enchanted forest and the darkest of ocean storms. I don't know your first name darling otherwise I'd have stopped calling you Ignes.'' 

''You have no idea how much I want that, Lesso your eyes are just as enchanting but they show me everything that you have been through, the pain, heartbreak, abandonment, you don't deserve that, if only I had my heart and soul I would make sure no one ever could hurt you again. I notice at night how the moon reflects off your eye, drawing me into a never ending sea of magic and wonder.'' 

After that we talk for a while longer before I can't control myself anymore, I place my hand on her cheek and pull her in for a kiss, it is slow, the kind you see in movies where fireworks go off, it was soft, slow, painless and comforting. every emotion we had towards each other was encased in this kiss, the way her hand was so gently placed on my neck.  We pull away. ''I know you won't remember this, neither will I, Lesso i think I am falling deeply for you and I don't want to hurt you but I can't deny what I feel. ''Oh Ignes, I feel the same way, I don't mean to push you away, I want this, us, forever.''

I begin to feel a bit sleepy, the elixir is wearing off. ''Here, just sleep in this, you look tired so it must be wearing off.'' Lesso smiles as she changes into my shorts and oversized top, I change into something similar before we fell onto the bed, too tired to get in, I lay on my side and not 2 minutes later I feel an arm around my waist. lesso, I couldn't help but smile as the drain took over and I fell asleep. ''Goodnight bat'' Lesso said before see too fell asleep.
