We have forgotten

I opened my eyes, Lesso was asleep beside me, she had never looked more like an angel, I should know. She woke up and immediately pulled me in for a hug ''I remember everything from last night, bat. The way we spoke about eachother, the way your eyes searched mine for that little spark I see so often, how I love you, Lillith'' I panicked, how could she know my name!?...

I woke up in a cold sweat, my eyes darted open and I sat up immedietly, scaring the sleeping redhead beside me. ''Ignes are you okay, wait what am I doing here, in your bed?'' Lesso was searching for any hints of why she still had her arm wrapped around you trying to comfort you. ''I think I had a nightmare and we did the truth elixr yesterday but the last thing I can remember is you saying you didn't like me that much the first time we met, then blank until just now.'' 

''I can't remember anything past you beginning to talk about how you thought I was entitled'' She laughs. Lesso removed her arm from around you. ''Why am I wearing your clothes? and... in bed... oh god we didn't did we!?'' Lesso now looks slightly panicked but not before her face was turning pink with a deep blush. ''I don't think so, we are both wearing clothes and I am sure even with an elixir we would remember if we had you know-'' I didn't dare say it. 

''What time is it? We need to get to breakfast'' Lesso looked around for her watch that had been discarded throughout the talk. ''It's only 7am don't worry Lesso, we've got an hour until breakfast'' 

''Well, get up, we have meetings , being  a dean is hard work you know'' Lesso smirks at me. ''I think you forget I was the headmistress of the dark for years Lady Lesso'' I smirk back at her. ''There is plenty of time to discuss things during breakfast'' I go on. We get up, me and Lesso get dressed and head down to the hall. 

''Ah, Lesso, Ignes what a joy to see you both here'' Dovey practically beams upon seeing us both walk in. ''Morning Dovey, hope you slept well, what do we have for today?'' I try to stay positive, underneath my anxiety had been creeping up on me since I had woken up, gods know what I told Lesso, what if she remembers any of it, in my dream she knew my name and what if-'' 

''Ignes? Are you here?'' Dovey stared at me waiting on an answer. ''Yes Dovey I'm here, sorry'' ''As I was saying, we have the unity ball creeping up on us, so we need chaperones for the dance, Lesso, Ignes you two will be looking after your nevers and nights, myself and Helios will be looking after light and evers'' I glanced at Lesso with a smirk, little did she know that I had a great plan for the unity ball which as tomorrow. 

The meeting lasted the whole of breakfast, just as myself and Lesso was about to leave Dovey approached me. ''Ignes can I please borrow you for 5 minutes, Lesso she will be at your skills class in 5 minutes, it is important'' Lesso rolled her eyes but let me go. 

Dovey guided me into her office before closing the door. ''So, you have the plan all set for tomorrow? I have spoke to Lesso and... she likes you too, she is worried about you however so please please don't go doing anything stupid like walking alone on the bridge at night or talking to mirrors again'' She laughed, not realising what she had said. ''I won't Dovey, I just... I can't tell Lesso that I l-lo- I can't say it, that I like her more than just a coworker.'' I feel my eyes growing tears but am fast to push them down. ''Ignes, if only you knew...'' Dovey sighed but dismissed me before I could ask any questions. 

I walk into the classroom where Lesso is watching as the students had just finished demonstrating their tallents and powers. ''Okay, that was quite dissapointing, you would never make it in the real never world'' Lesso says as she points to each of them with her cane. ''Class dismissed, just go and learn what actual evil is before you all end up in the doom room'' She places her hand on the bridge of her nose as the students quickly escape the room. 

''You here to talk Ignes?'' Lesso points her cane to me this time. ''No, well. Maybe. It is about last night, and no. we did NOT sleep together... but If I told the truth I may have told you something that could ruin everything, so please, be honest. can you remember anything at all?'' 

Lesso took a deep breath, looking into my eyes as she spoke. ''I. I saw you in my dream last night, something terrifying happened but it is impossible so we won't speak of it. I remember a warm feeling in my chest while talking but that is all'' She answered honestly. 'impossible? how does she mean terrifying?' ''Lesso what happened in your dream?'' I avoid eye contact as much as possible. ''Ignes I will not speak of the impossible, please don't try it'' She avoided eye contact too, whatever was in her dream must have terrified her. 

''Okay, sorry. Lesso, What would you say if we went on a walk tonight, get some practice for all the walking at the unity ball tomorrow?'' I tried to think of an excuse, I just needed to spend some time with her and unfortunately I think it's time my other powers came into use.

''You want to go on a walk? at night, with me? I mean I don't see why not. Okay then Ignes, you can meet me at the gates of the school at 9pm.'' I smiled at her ''Great, see you then Lesso, wear something other than the suit, there will be a lot of walking'' She just smiled and nodded and then I left and headed towards my other classes for the day.
