*Your POV*

I felt myself being lifted, then it was blank. Next thing I know I am coming round and I hear heels clicking, it is Lesso, But how can it be her? I left alone and surely I would have heard her or seen her in the forest. I remember the scythe striking my chest, guess it got the wrong side. How the hell am I going to explain my way out of this. 

I move slightly as I feel conscious slipping back into my body which causes Lesso to stop and sigh in relief. ''Ignes? I am taking you to the infirmery'' I try to protest it, knowing I would be wasting time. ''Lesso, please put me down.'' I say as I begin to straighten out my clothes. ''You need medical care, you took an object to the heart, quite frankly it is a miracle you have even woken up'' She says as she continues to carry me. Not a chance I am going to get treatment for something that will sort itself in time. ''Lesso put me down.'' I say looking her dead in the eye, nothing but seriousness in my voice. 

She follows my order, she puts me down but grabs onto me so I don't fall. ''Why do you have to be so difficult, I am only trying to help and not even a thankyou... how are you alive after that, I don't understand'' She says stopping to get an answer. ''I guess it missed my heart. Miracles can happen for nevers too you know'' I say as  begin to walk better. ''I just need some sleep and I will be fine lesso I promise.'' I can't tell her the truth, if I did I would never hear the end of it. 

We walk together as we go back to Lesso's dorm, my chest hurts but it isn't damage I haven't had before. ''We need to get your chest bandaged, if you weren't aware you shouldn't be able to see blood through black clothing Ignes.'' Lesso says as she heads for a first aid kit. ''Lesso I can bandage myself I appreciate it and thank you.'' 

''Not for an injury like this you can't, it isnt as simple as putting a bandaid on it and calling it a day. Come on, if you are comfortable that is, please let me. I can at least put the first aid training that dovey made us do to use.'' She says with a little smile, remembering her faking cutting her finger off to see dovey pass out. 

''Fine, but please do not ask about what you see, I won't talk about it. Just... sorry... in advance.'' I say knowing what lies under the clothes, the fresh cuts from the forest, the puncture wound from the scythe, my bones from a long long ongoing eating disorder, bruising, worst of all my battle scars. ''Okay, defensive I see *she laughs* you are fine with me Ignes, we all have our insecurities.'' Lesso said as I took my shirt off. I was not prepared to be met with Lesso's eyes seeming to begin to water as her eyes scanned my body, taking in my history that was littered on my torso. 

silence fell for a moment before Lesso broke the silence. ''Yep there is where the scythe went in, it really got you didn't it, nothing I can't fix. Can you hold the patch in place while I wrap this up.'' I put my hand over the patch, remembering right now my lack of full heart saved my life. blessings and curses are bittersweet. '' I guess you can't be mad at dovey for putting you through the training course, since I arrived it is pretty much putting all your training to use.'' I laugh knowing the truth in my statement. ''You are disproving my point that the training was useless so... Your welcome for being the knight in shining armour'' Lesso finishes wrapping your chest as she hands you your comfy clothes to get change into. 

''You have no idea how much I would pay or what I would do to see you in a full suit of armour trying to rescue me.'' I laugh picturing her doing just that, saving me yet again. ''Just hope there are no doors for you to break'' Lesso added with a smirk. 

''What were you doing in the blue forest after hours?'' She sits next to me on her bed, her hand on my knee. ''I wanted to practice somewhere I would need to win, where no one could swoop in and save me. and where I could be weak and not have anyone take advantage.'' I bit my tongue after the last part. ''Well I let you do your thing and defeat them all, I got concerned when I didn't see you moving, then when you went limp I thought you were gone. Nice to have you back in the land of the living'' Lesso nudged my side at the joke, she was right, I defeated them then my energy left me and she did infact come to my rescue. 

''It's nice to be back'' I joke,  I lie back on the bed, followed by Lesso beside me. I feel a hand brush against mine, I smile then I get that twinge in my chest and I move my hand away to place it on my chest. ''Deep breaths, you are all good Ignes.'' Lesso looks at me, into my eyes and I hear a little voice inside my head, not just any voice but Lesso's ''Breathe... 1,2,3,4. out 1,2,3,4.'' I follow and the twinge begins to lessen and lessen. 

''Thank you. for helping me, saving me and... thank you for not bringing anything up about what you just saw.'' I say as I look down to the floor, ashamed of what has become of me. I am getting weak, that unfamiliar burning feeling returned where my heart should be. ''Shit, no, no not this please.'' I whisper as I began to realise that feeling was... love. 

''are you okay?'' Lesso looks a little concerned at hearing me whisper. ''not right now, but don't worry I will be fine'' I smile at her. I am in love with Lesso.
