"It's disgraceful! These mortals have no respect for us or even their own lives!" Arak complained, crossing his arms and leaning back in his chair.
"Precisely! They indulge themselves in substances that sustain their own temporary happiness instead of what must be done! It's infuriating!" Ramon agreed, slamming his fists on the table to further prove his frustration.
"It's astonishing how we've let them stay in this pitiful state for so long, we must put them out of their misery. We must start over, see to it that this never happens again." Heles tapped her nails on the table gently, her eyes revealing the disgust she held for the mortals in her universe.
Beerus glanced around the large table holding the other Gods of Destruction. He and the others bowed their heads to the God of Everything as the perfect being listened carefully, "with all due respect, Grand Zeno, isn't it best if we give them the chance to help themselves?"
"Haven't we given them enough time? And what has that time given them the chance to do? Face it Beerus, there's no hope for these mortals." Kitera's tail swayed uneasily, this was a tough decision, but most of the gods had come to terms with it.
Most.
"I think Beerus is right, maybe we've just been going about our jobs wrong. Maybe we should do something instead of sleep for centuries and complain about our universes." Champa rubbed the back of his ear as he felt a migraine coming on.
"Not you too, Champa." Heles whined, dissatisfied with Champa's response.
Moscow beeped in concern, scolding the other gods for their bickering.
"Apologies for interrupting whatever you may have going on, Beerus, it's time to put your own feelings aside and decide what's best for all universes." Vermouth said, staring at Beerus with an unreadable expression.
The other gods besides Champa and Beerus agreed.
"Grand Zeno, please, there must be another way." Beerus begged hopefully, a pit of guilt forming in his stomach.
Zeno stared silently at the gods, never dropping his intimidating gaze.

The gods met with their angels, steadily leaving the meeting. Beerus's hands began to shake as he crossed his arms.
"I'm truly sorry for your inconvenience, Lord Beerus." Ivan murmured, before making his way to his angel.
Beerus raised a claw to cover his jaw, this was bad, not for him, but for his universe. Whis placed a gentle hand on Beerus's shoulder, "Lord Beerus, I've spoken to the Grand Priest, he's told me a way to convince Grand Zeno our universes, or at least ours, is actually worth saving."
Beerus's expression turned to one of surprise, "you did? How? What did he say?!"
Whis's smile faltered a bit, "we should head to Earth first, I'll explain on the way."
Beerus nodded, concerned at Whis's unsettled body language.

Bulma hurriedly ran to the phone. She wasted no time calling all the other warriors forward.
As the warriors arrived they became skeptical as they saw Whis and Beerus, unsure of what they may hear.
Although Beerus's face remained stoic, it was obvious he felt shame and deep sorrow. The others waited out of respect.
"I have news from a meeting I attended with the other gods." Beerus looked around, assuring himself that he had everyone's attention.
"The gods have decided that their universes are corrupted, that the beings in their universes don't appreciate existence. So they're going to destroy their universes. They were given permission from the God of Everything to do so in one week's time. The God of Everything will recreate the universes for the Gods of Destruction to watch over."
Everyone was taken aback by Beerus's announcement. Vegeta stepped forward, aggravated at this sudden information. "You want to get rid of us that bad?!"
Beerus's eyes widened, hurt at Vegeta's accusation he responded with just as much fire, "of course not! The vote was ten against two! I had no say!"
Vegeta grit his teeth, "so what are we supposed to do? Wait until we end up in otherworld?!"
"You wouldn't, it would be as if you never existed. The whole universe, every second of history since the beginning of time, will be erased."
Everyone gasped in shock as their eyes widened, "what?!"
"Are you kidding me?!"
"This is crazy!!"
"Oh no..!"
Voices from the warriors fumbled together, worried thoughts being shouted without a second thought. Whis waved his hand down, signalling the crowd to calm.
"Calm down everyone, there is a way we can save you." Whis's smile never left, but it dipped down as if he wanted to frown or even cry.
"How?" Bulma muttered, tears starting to form in her eyes.
"You must rid every universe of it's Destruction God." Whis placed his hand back on Beerus's shoulder, seeing how uneasy the cat was.
Goku's eyes widened, "you mean we have to kill the Supreme Kai's?! And in turn their Destroyer God?! Even ours?! Even Beerus?!"
Beerus nodded his head slowly, blinking slowly, "I will be here as long as I can, but yes, I too must be killed."
A heavy silence fell upon the group.
"How long do we have? H-how.. How are we supposed to do this?" Gohan asked, digging his nails into bicep.
"The Gods of Destruction will protect their Supreme Kai and the Supreme Kai will fight back, so you will need to get help, go to other universes and gather anyone who's willing to help. You have all of this week to gather your warriors as well as your plan, then on the last day you must put your plan into action. The Gods will destroy their universes in order of strength. The weakest will go first, then the most powerful." Beerus explained, "Even if you are not in the universe, when your universe is erased, you will perish with it, understood?"
Gohan nodded as his head hung, the other warriors thought deeply about their situation. Whis smiled sadly as he waved, "Then it's farewell for now, if you need us at all you have the communication device directly to my staff. We wish you good luck." A bright flash of light blinded the warriors, when vision returned, the only remainder of their encounter was a crater in the floor.
The tension was high, this was a problem like no other they'd handled, "guys, I.. I don't think we can do this.." Bulma muttered to herself as her tears ran down her face. She wrapped her arms around herself, trembling when Goku comforted her.
"We have no choice." Vegeta stated coldly, "we lay down and die, or we fight for our lives. If we give up now then what was the point of it all? Why did we try so hard before when the odds were stacked against us? Hm?!"
Goku tried to comfort Bulma best as possible, "he's right. We have to fight. It'll be difficult, and there's a huge chance we're going to die anyway, but we can't just sit here and let it happen!"
Tien nodded, "definitely, but how are we going to fight against literal gods? I know Beerus just told us but.. The thought of fighting gods." Tien lifted his head when he felt a hand around his torso.
"We can do it, I believe in us. And if Vegeta's giving us a motivational speech, then I know that what's in store is going to be tough. But we're the Z Warriors, and we can do anything!" He smiled encouragingly when Tien gave him a affirming nod.
Bulma cleared her face, "Okay then, you guys will have to gather other fighters, without starting a panic in other universes. Me, Gohan, and my father will stay here and come up with a plan."
"Sounds good to me," Krillin reassured, rubbing his thumb across 18's hand.
So here it is, the "big story" you may or may not have been waiting for. I'm hoping I post on this regularly, or at least often. I also hope I don't lose my vision for this. I love you guys and I hope you like it.
Also some of the information in this book is incorrect and I know, it's just there for either dramatic effect or because I couldn't find answers when I was doing research for this book.
