Part 25: The party

Josephine Rogers Rhee POV

I got to the party with Abraham and Rosita. My brother was with me. He sighed. I then noticed someone. I walked forward. "Megatron?" He turned. "Joey?" I smiled and hugged him. Optimus looked at him. "Hey." Both of them hugged. I smiled.

I sighed as I was standing in a corner nervously. Optimus and Megatron went outside to talk. "Hey." I saw mom. I smiled. "Where's your brother?" Dad asked.

"Outside speaking with an old friend." They nodded. "I... think I'm gonna head home. Daryl said if I don't feel comfortable to come see him. Haven't seen him since earlier." I mumbled. "No. You're not bailing. We're in this together."

"It's okay, Jo. You're with family. Come on." I nodded and followed her.

Daryl saw Jo talking with Glenn and Maggie. He smiled. He loved it the most when Jo was happy.

I sighed as I was sitting down. I winced as my wrist was hurting. "Hey, you okay?" Megatron asked me. "No, I'm gonna go sleep." He nodded.

Optimus sighed. "Come on. I'll take her home." He had a radio on his belt and it crackled. "Optimus, where are you two going?" Mom asked. "Jo's not feeling good. I'm taking her home."

"Okay."

Once we got to the house, Optimus shut the door. He whistled. I smiled when I saw Ravage. He wagged his tail when he saw me.

I got up to mine and Optimus's room. I laid down on the bed. Optimus sighed and he tucked me in. "Okay. I'll be downstairs. Love you." He kissed my forehead. "Love you, too." I mumbled sleepily.

I came back from a walk with my brother. "Hey, Jo!" I saw Jessie and Pete. I smiled and waved. I then stopped.

Optimus looked at me. "I have a bad feeling about Pete." I said. He looked at me. "What do you mean?" He asked.

"Something's off about him." I said. Optimus sighed.

The next day

I was standing beside mom. Dad and Optimus were going with the scavenging crew. I sighed. "That's everything?" Dad asked. Tara nodded. Mom kissed him on the lips.

Dad hugged me tightly. I smiled. Optimus hugged mom. "Power grid was a prototype. I'm surprised it took this long to start acting up." Reg said to my brother.

"We'll get it going." Optimus assured her. "Daylight's burning. Let's go!" Aiden said.

Deanna took a step forward. "I know I said it before, but thank you." Optimus smiled at her.

He then turned to me. "Aw, I'll be okay Pookie Bear. I love you so much!" Optimus exaggerated. I smiled and hugged him.

He then kissed my forehead. I smiled. He then hugged me tighter. "You need to go." I told him. He nodded. He kissed my head. His holoform deactivated. His truck followed behind the van.

I sighed and felt as if something would go wrong.

"help! Someone help me!" I ran outside.

Turns out Optimus got injured in the run and I was sitting in the infirmary and I laid my head on his stomach. I sighed. I held his hand.

I went over to Jessie's and saw Rick. "What's going on? Jessie, are you okay?" I asked her. I walked over. She nodded. "Rick. Jo. What are you two doing here?" Pete asked. I turned.

"Listen to me." Jessie started. "I'm gonna have to ask you two to leave," Pete said. Ravage was behind me. "No," Jessie said. I looked at her. "What?"

"You need to leave," Jessie said. "What are you talking about?" Pete asked. "Just go, Pete." Jessie said. "What have you been saying to each other? Huh? What have you been DOING?!" Pete yelled in her face.

"Pete, come on," I said and he stormed over to me. "You are a slut! You do everything for attention! YOU CAN'T EVEN SAVE YOUR ALIEN BROTHER!Fuck you!" he yelled in my face. I stared at him.

"Pete, you and me are going to leave right now," Rick states. "You come into my house. . ."

"Pete, you and me are leaving," Rick said. "You're leaving. Right now. Do you think you're the law? Do you actually think you have a say in anything here?"

"Step back," Rick ordered. "Who the hell do you think you are?!" Pete growled. "Someone who's trying not to kill you."

Pete swung. "No!" I yelled. They started to fight. "PETE STOP IT!"

I flinched as they went flying out the window.

Sasha heard Rosie growl. They turned. She saw someone running and she flew off in the direction.

I was crying as the two fought. I tried to get Pete off. He backhanded me. I fell. Rosita bent down near me. Rosie then slammed down behind me. She roared and Rick and Pete separated from each other.

Rosie bent down near me. She nuzzled me and helped me stand. I looked at Rosie. She chittered.

Rick was in the middle of speaking when Rosie slapped him upside the head with her tail knocking him out cold.

She then turned back to me.
