chapter 14

Ethan

I lay on my bed with a smile on my face .  I haven't stop smiling since I left her house.  I don't know why I went to her and told her all my problems but after talking to her I feel good and a bit relaxed.

Now I have to make things right with sam . I know my mistake and I will correct it but in what way should I apologize so he would forgive me.

I drift into a peaceful sleep thinking about a idea and wake up to my mom shouting my name so I would wake up.

"ethan get up " my mom says

"5 more minutes "

"that's why you shouldn't go to meet your girlfriend late at night"

I stare at her with a confused face.

"oh don't act innocent I saw you last night sneaking out "

"and you assumed it I went to meet my Non-existing girlfriend I could I gone to meet anyone like sam, or gone to the hospital to talk to dad or lily"

"when you came home there was a big smile on your face and you would have also known that that there is a bit of progress in your dad's health and you also had a fight with sam a few days you both are not in talking terms "

"fine you win but she is not my girlfriend "

"the girl lily was talking about " She says and I nod .

"From what lily told she is a nice girl " she says

"so what were you saying about improvement in dad's health "

"doctor called last night around the time you left and told me that there is a bit of improvement in his health "

" get up now and get ready if you don't to be late" she says leaving my room not before ruffling my hair .

Instead of getting ready I pick my phone I scroll through it until my mom shouts from downstairs to ask if I am ready or not at that I quickly run into the bathroom and take a quick shower .

"ethan hurry up " My mom shouts  from downstairs .

"just a minute " Saying that I grab the first pair of fresh pair . Without even looking in the mirror I run downstairs .

"breakfast " my mom says as I put on my shoes

"sorry I am super late " I say running out.

" did you look in the mirror before leaving" Julia asks as I seat on my seat next to her.

"what "I ask confused .

"your hair you haven't styled it as usual " she says pointing at my hair. I quickly remove my phone and check  it is a kinda messy but it looks good on me .

"you look cute with that hair style " I hear julia say very silently unfortunately for her and fortunately for me I heard her. And my heart skipped a beat she called me cute . I want to kiss her right now.

Control ethan she just called you cute nothing else .I alot of people say to you .

But julia she .

Clam down . I repeat in head .

"down to earth ethan " julia says snaping me out of my thoughts .

Before I could reply the period starts

There was match between Julia's  team and the other one . Damm.She is really good at football . I can stare at her for hours .

"ethan stop staring at julia you might creep her out" sam whispers in my ear .

"it not my fault you can't stare at amanda " I whisper back

"why would I want to stare at her "

"maybe because you like her "

"maybe you like julia "

"who said I don't like her  "

Julia's team wins .So she decides to celebrate it with amanda Ashley and jenny and of Course how can we forget tyler.
