sunshine visits in the hospital.

Sidney was now a Sex Pistol. it had been almost a week since Glen became R.I.P.

they'd not played any gigs at all which had become incredibly frustrating for Steve and Paul as all they wanted to do was play gigs as often as they used to, there was only one problem.

Sid couldn't play. he couldn't play the bass at all, even though he'd managed to convince himself for the most part that it didn't matter, there was a small fraction of him which felt embarrassed, it was only a matter of time before they'd have to do a gig and Sid couldn't play at all.

and there was only one person he could confess his embarrassment to, and that's exactly where he was going, not to her flat but to the hospital as that's where Vanity had ended up.

she had a slight overdosed on cocaine and was rushed to the hospital, Vivienne had walked in on her in the back of the shop as she was on the floor tremoring and her eyes had rolled into the back of her head.

luckily it wasn't anything too serious however she'd been in there now for three days.

this was Sid's first time being able to visit her, he was on the bus with a box of quality streets in his hand along with red and yellow tulip in the other, Vanity loved tulips which is something Sid found out through Vivienne.

the bus stopped and Sid got off, seeing the hospital not too far away it took him around five minuets to walk to the actual hospital. once he walked through the door he noticed the green and red Christmas decorations, tinsel, holly and a tree in the corner of the room.

once he got there the woman at the desk who looked to be a young nurse with dark brown hair, tanned skin and milky brown eyes looked up at him, ''can i help you?'' she asked, Sid nodded and leaned forward on the desk.

''yeah umm, I'm here to see my girlfriend, Vanity Howard'' he said as the woman gave him a light smile, ''yes of course let me just find her in our books'' she said before flipping a few pages back ''oh yes miss Howard, she's up the stairs on the second ward, Bed 14'' she said as he nodded and thanked her.

''if you just sign your name there and the time you've visited.'' she smiled and handed him a pen, he took it. writing his name onto the little box then checking the hospital's clock on the wall.

once he'd done it he gave her the pen back and took the stairs up to the ward, purposely missing a step each time. once he got up there he saw the long ward full of patients, there were also many doctors and nurses up there, as he walked down it he saw bed 14 and sat there was Vanity.

she looked quite pale, a change from her sun kissed skin, her hair also up in a messy pony tail, her face was quite dull however when she saw Sid walking down the ward toward her she grinned brightly.

''Sidney baby! what're you doing here?'' she asked, he leant down and gave her a kiss on the lips before answering ''I'm visiting my best girl'' he said as she gasped a little when she saw the tulips.

''oh you got me flowers, and tulips as well oh Sid they're my favorite'' she gushed as he giggled, glad that he'd made her smile.

''i got you some quality street's as well, i hope they're nice for ya'' he said, then began to look for a place to put them.

''just put them on the side.'' she said however nurse Emma came over, taking them from Sid.

''I'll put these in some fresh water for you Vanity darling'' she smiled as Sid thanked her.

the first thing Sid noticed was the abundance of cards she'd gotten, all reading 'get well soon'

Sid sat in the chair next to her bed as he picked up the card which looked home made, the person who made it looked to have been fairly young.
