"I'm telling you it's not gonna happen."  David said slamming the kitchen drawer shut. "why not? I'm old enough" Harry replied back, David just shook his head and kept jumping from one place to the next as it was another busy Monday morning, Tommy and Vanity weren't awake yet which meant he had another ten minuets to get everything ready for the morning, David was rushed off of his feet enough without Harry yammering on in his ear about getting a motorbike.

"I can barely keep this place going half the time I'm not lending you money for a bloody motorbike!" David said trying to close the conversation "you don't have to pay anything I'll pay for it with my money from darn the garage" Harry said grabbing a cup and beginning to make some coffee.

"You don't work down at the garage, you skulk around there just so you can fob em off with pretend car problems." David replied before going out to the hallway and to the bottom of the stairs.

"Vanity! Tommy! Time to get up!" He shouted before coming back into the kitchen. "I'm sorry Harry but it's not gonna happen and that's the end of it." He said. Harry tutted and walked out of the Kitchen and threw himself on the sofa in front of the TV.

Another five minutes past and David still couldn't hear anything upstairs meaning they were still in bed.

"Vanity! Tommy! I won't tell you again!" He shouted "I'm up!" A very annoyed voice came from Vanity as he heard her go into the bathroom.

David put a bowl out for Vanity and a plate for Tommy as he knew he wanted bacon on mornings. He came trudging down the stairs lazily and sat down at the table

"Morning, is she coming down?" David asked, Tommy nodded and scratched his head "yeah she's taken over the bathroom" he said, doing a big yawn before widely opening his eyes to wake himself up a bit.

Vanity soon after came down the stairs and into the kitchen. She wore a blue tight shirt with small yellow and red stripes across it and a skirt. David wasn't letting that go as it was too short for his liking.

"No." He stated simply she turned around "what?" She asked, trying to get a mug from the cupboard

"That's not for school, change it" he said pointing to the door quickly. "There's nothing wrong with it" she said looking down at her skirt as she genuinely didn't see David's problem.

Her skirt wasn't too short. In fact recently David had been getting more protective over Vanity as she was getting older. Not always a bad thing but when he was always breathing down her neck about everything she did it got a bit annoying sometimes.

"Upstairs now" he said, she huffed and stomped her foot before going back upstairs.

"What just happened?" Harry asked coming back into the kitchen after seeing Vanity storm upstairs.

"David said her skirt was too short so he made her go change" Tommy answered, Harry furrowed his brows "which skirt was it?" He asked "the black one with those little white flowers embroidered into it" Tommy answered.
