The next day Sid had to go to the band meeting which meant he wanted Vanity to go as well, they weren't too fond of the idea however not wanting to upset Sid, Steve and Paul didn't say anything.

However Johnny couldn't care less. They were all sat at the table except from Sid, instead he was sat with Vanity on the leather sofa, his head on her chest as she slightly dug her nails into his shoulder.

She could feel how Johnny despised the fact she was there, to be honest she was only there for Sid. Vanity puffed on a cigarette as the guys talked about Johnny's song.

"The jubilee celebrates 25 years of good old Queen Liz looking down on us, if we take the piss out of the Jubilee, we become the story instead of her." Malcolm stated, Johnny however wasn't having any of it. "And after the Jubilee the songs forgotten" John did have a point. And they'd already filmed the video for the song and it had been named No Future so was there really any point in changing it?

"No our 'God Save the Queen' will be a national anthem for a brand new country, a country founded on fury" Malcolm had once again tried to convince John to change the name. Beginning to get more and more desperate as the Jubilee was getting closer and closer.

Vanity was slightly high on heroin, Sid wasn't as he still felt the aftermath of the drugs he'd done yesterday night. Vanity decided to voice her opinion on what she thought about the song. "In all fairness Malcolm although i think the whole 'royalty' thing is very enchanting for this fairyland revolution you've got going on. I think the song should still be called-"

"SHUT UP!" Johnny shouted, it was clear he'd had enough of her. First taking his best friend then coming to band meetings, now voicing her opinion on something that had nothing to do with her. He couldn't take it, she had to go.

"I was just saying I think-"

"This is a band meeting!" Johnny raised his voice, standing up from the table as he turned to look at Vanity.

"If you are not in the band, you are band...understand?" He asked incredibly sarcastically.

"you have a wonderful way with words Johnny darling has anyone ever told you that?'' she asked, Johnny didn't respond. he didn't want to encourage her anymore.

instead he turned to Malcolm ''i will now leave the song is called 'No Future'' he stated before walking away and leaving.

Vanity huffed, puffing on her cig before looking at the boys who were already looking at her, they knew Johnny and Vanity butted heads from time to time but this was a new kind of anger, it was fuled by jealousy and lies.

Johnny hated liars, and dislike Johnny all you want but at least you can count on him being damn honest to you. however now it felt like he was going against the one thing he was most against. he was lying to himself, he was jealous of them both. Sid was Johnny's best friend, Johnny had some confusing feelings for Vanity however he still cared about her. Now Vanity and Sid have eachother, Paul and Steve are like brothers and although the guys are all kind of like one big unhappy family, Johnny didn't feel like he was a part of it.

Sid was still his best friend and that was all that counted, no one could ever take that away but it still hurt when he saw Sid an Vanity playing happy families whilst he was just there third wheeling all the time.

the boys waited for Vanity's reaction as they were still a bit shocked by what had just happened, sure enough Vanity did speak up. ''Screw him. call it God Save the Queen.'' she said stubbing her cig out.

the next day at Steves warehouse

the boys couldn't wait to open that box sooner, and once they did Johnny couldn't hve been angrier ''Fuck! lying Fuck! he's only gone and called it God Save the fucking Queen!'' Johnny yelled furiously as he looked at the single in his hand.
