Part 9 - Surprise, Bitch.

My thoughts were cut off by Alex's hands choking me, but this wasn't like any other time he had choked me.
He threatened me with a knife that he had pulled out of his coat pocket.
I couldn't breathe at all.
I suddenly started losing my vision.
His words were like stabs to my ears.
I couldn't feel anything.
I was going to die.
I was fainting slowly, but when Alex dropped me I felt myself being caught by a familiar person.
"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?" It was Bojan.
"Who the fuck are you!" Alex shouted
"Wow Zoé, is this your new boy toy?"
I could've came back with some snobby comeback, but i was too numb to speak. I couldn't talk, move, or do anything.

"I suggest you shut your mouth before something bad happens to you." Bojan said, not taking his eyes off of Alex.
"What are you going to d-"
Alex was cut off by being punched in the face by Bojan.
"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT FO-"
And again.
He was so hot when he was mad.
"Get the fuck away from me and my girlfriend."
Girlfriend..? I thought to myself...
"Cmon Zoé, lets get out of here and get the police."
Bojan said that to scare Alex away. He knew i couldn't do anything.
I was almost knocked unconscious, but i could still understand most of what Bojan was saying.

Alex ran out of the building. He escaped. He was on the loose.
"Bojan I don't feel so go-" I fainted in his arms.
"It's okay darling, I'm here."
"I'm not leaving" he reassured me.
We were still in the toilet halls at this point, and me and Bojan stayed there until I calmed down.
"I'm so sorry Zoé, who is he?"
I was sure i wasnt going to tell Bojan who he was or why he did this, but I then thought that maybe I should..

"Let's get out of here if im going to tell you"
"Okay. You wait here."
"You'll be okay?" Bojan asked.
"Yes."
Bojan went and payed for the bill, and came back to find me crying.
"Zoé, its okay. I'm here now".
"I'm so sorry" i said to bojan sobbing.
"Don't say that"
"Cmon let's get out of here."
"O-okay.."

We both made our way into the car and Bojan made sure i was okay.
"Are you okay? Do you need anything?"
"No."
"Zoé there's a cut on your thigh."
"No there's n-" holy shit!"
"That's massive!"
"I have tissues in the back, hold on"
Bojan got me tissues.
"I'm so sorry I let this happen to you.."
"It's not your fault!" I said to Bojan.
"Yes, but i could've stopped it sooner.."
"Bojan, look at me. It's okay."

I really found showing affection to people hard, after what had happened..

"I have somewhere i would like to take you, only if that's okay with you?"
"Of course"
"I'll tell you about everything when we get there"
"You don't have to, only if you're comfortable."
"Yeah. I think so."
"I want to try come out of my comfort zone.. i really struggle with telling people personal stuff, and even showing affection.."
"Zoé, I totally get that and I want to take things at your pace." Bojan said
"You're beautiful, Zo." He smiled at me.
"You're handsome as hell, Bojan." I laughed.
"Also you're really fucking sexy when you're mad." I said.
"Really?" Bojan replied
"Yes."

For the whole car journey, Bojan had his hand on my thigh, he made eye contact to ask if it was okay. And i loved that about Bojan, he would always make sure you were comfortable with things.

"Close your eyes" Bojan commanded.
"Okay!"
I closed my eyes and Bojan got me out of the car, bridal style.
"Can i open yet?"
"No"
Around a few seconds later,
"You can open now"

He had brought us to this hill.
You could see the whole view of Ljubljana from how high the hill was.
"This is so beautiful Bojan.. where did you even find this"
"I used to come here as a child.. it used to be a place i would come if i felt upset, and needed to let my emotions out.. the view comforted me i guess.." He explained.
"God that was hard to tell" Bojan laughed.
"Oh Bojan, I love it here, it's so beautiful.."
"Not as beautiful as you.."
Bojan looked at me with those beautiful brown eyes of his, his hair in his face.
We made eye contact for a good minute.
"Bojan?"
"Yes gorgeous?"
"I think I'm ready to tell you who that guy was."
"Are you sure?" Bojan reassured.
"Yes."
"I feel like I can trust you with it."
"That was my ex boyfriend, Alex. I had been in a relationship with him for a year and a bit. When we first got together, it was perfect, there was always so much love and affection, until a few months ago, he got quite abusive, well, very abusive. He used to take all of his problems out on me."
"God, Zoé, im so sorry, you shouldn't have to deal with that pain, and trauma." Bojan said.
"2 weeks ago, we had a massive fight. He found out about a diary i had. I used to write all of my thoughts, my problems and feelings in it. I'm not sure how he found out about it, but one night when I heard him come home I heard him laughing with a guy, that he had obviously brought home.. i think it maybe had something to do with whoever that was.."
"Oh Zoé" Bojan pulled me into a long hug.
I cried into his arms.. i hadn't shown my feelings and emotions to anyone, but Bojan made me feel safe. I felt like I could tell him anything and he wouldn't judge me.."
My hands hit my face, and Bojan brought me into a massive hug.
"It's okay, it's okay Zoé.
He cuddled me until I calmed down.

"Zoé I wasn't planning on telling you this because i didn't want to be like I was comparing our past relationships but I went through a very similar thing with my ex girlfriend. She was obsessed with me, a bit too obsessed. And when she got jealous, or saw me with another girl she would get super mad, and you know, do something similar to what you said Alex did.." Bojan said.
"Bojan, Im so sorry.."
"Dont apologize, we're both in this together. And it should be over now.."
"Im so proud of you for coming out of your comfort zone, I know it might be hard for you
"I hope you know Bojan that you make me feel safe, beautiful and I feel like I could tell you anything.."
The words flew out of my mouth.
"I feel the same way.." Bojan agreed.
"There isn't a person I would rather be spending tonight with."
I was in Bojans arms watching over the skyline, we talked for ages..
"Hey Bojan?"
"Yes beautiful?"
"Who was that girl you were with at the mall? I may or may not have been at the mall at the same time as you.."
"I THOUGHT THAT WAS YOU AT THE CAFÉ!" Bojan laughed.
"That's my cousin" she was helping me get an outfit for our date"
"Awww oh my gosh.." I now felt so stupid.
"What did you think she was someone else?"
"Nooo... maybe!"
"Oh Zo.." Bojan laughed at my comment.
"What!!!" I said laughing back.
"Nothing" bojan replied.
"Zoé.. you're so so beautiful."
"Something clicked when i saw you Zo."

"Bojan, you're making me blush!"
Bojan pulled me in by my face, and kissed me.
It was hard for me to show affection, but with Bojan it was different.
