"BIITCH TELL ME EVERYTHING" Mia said cheering. I just laughed. "Cmon then!!" She repeated herself. I told Mia everything. "And then Bojan asked me if I wanted to come on tour with them!!" I shrieked. As we pulled into the driveway, and exited Mia's car, she pulled me into a massive hug. "I'm so proud of you." She started to tear up. "Omg stop you're going to make me cry." I laughed. "Seriously zozo, after all of this, look how far you've come." she continued. "I love you so much" I told her. "I love you too, and I'm so glad that I have my best friend back." She uttered.
As we stepped back into the house, I was welcomed by balloons and banners. 'Congratulations' they read. "Omg Mia!! How-" I was interrupted. "Shhhh, come with me." She insisted. "O-okay!" I followed Mia. She brought me into the hall, where I saw someone I hadn't seen for a good while. "Grandma?! Oliver?!" My grandma? And my older brother?! How did Mia-?! I'm speechless. "How did you even fly out?" I asked my brother. "I have my ways." He said. I hugged my grandma and my brother, and then went on to hug Mia. I started crying, I was so overwhelmed.
We moved into the living room, and my grandma started conversation. "So Zoé! I hear your going on tour with your boyfriend and his band?" She started. "Hahah- he's not my boyfriend but yes I am!" I laughed. "Well he sure looks like it!" She told me. I just laughed it off. Did it really look like we were dating? "So what got you interested in him, huh." Oliver asked. "Oh shush Ollie." I told him. "What I'm only asking." He laughed. I rolled my eyes. "So when are you going on tour dear?" My grandmother asked. "A week exactly." I replied. "Wow that's soon!" She said. "I know!" "I remember when you used to sing on your little microphone when you were a kid, oh the days.." My grandma said.
As soon as she said that it brought back so many memories and flashbacks. I missed being young, and not having to worry about a single thing.
"And we also heard about Alex.. we're really glad you're okay and I hope he rots in prison." Ollie told me. He didn't know that Alex was still on the loose. But I went along with it. "Yeah- me too." I replied. "People are vile these days, and you better stay safe if you're going on this tour thing!" Grandma said. "She's right." Mia added. "I will be, the boys will keep me safe." I assured them.
It had been around an hour or two, it was now 3pm. "We had better go, we should get checked into our hotel." My grandma said. "We're staying in that hotel across the road from that Italian restaurant!" She continued. 'Bella Italia' So many memories from that place. Me and Bojans first date. The place I almost got killed. But I wasn't going to think about that. "Wow that's great!" I said, awkwardly. "I'll see you later dear, take care of yourself!" My grandma hugged me. "I love you grandma" Ollie came over to me. "I love you sis, I'll see you tomorrow" He hugged me. "Love you too" i replied.
They both left. Me and Mia spent the rest of the afternoon drinking wine and talking shit, like always. We stayed up until 4am, giggling. The night ended up with us both passed out on the floor. This wasn't the first time, I wish I could say it was. I was the first one to wake up, so I thought I would annoy the living shit out of Mia to wake her up. She lay on the floor by her side. I thought it would be funny to connect my phone to the tv, and blast 'tattoo' by loreen and scream my heart out to it.
"VIOLINS PLAYING AND THE ANGELS CRYING" "WHEN THE STARS ALIGN THEN ILL BE THEEEEREEEE" "NO I DONT CARE ABOUT THEM AAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLL" "CAUSE ALL I WANT IS TO BE LO-" Mia had clearly woken up, as I got something thrown at me. Something had landed in my mouth. It was a fucking m&m. "HEY!" I yelled, the music still on full blast. "You deserved that, you interrupted my slumber." She laughed.
She ended up singing with me until we both ran out of air. We decided to get breakfast, even thought it was literally 1pm already. I poured myself cereal. Mia made me and her some smoothie she had seen on instagram that was apparently "good for your skin" "6 days til tour!!" She cheered with me. "You better text me 24/7!" She told me. "Kidding, but don't forget about me!!" She giggled. "How could I forget your dumbass." I rolled my eyes. "I'll call you all the time!!" I assured her. "And I'll be there for you every step of the way, no matter what country you're in." She said, hugging me.
I checked my phone and this was at the top of my instagram feed.

At least I was getting more support than hate. I was proud of myself for revealing myself. It was a massive step for me. I showed Mia. "People are loving you!!" She told me. "I'm so proud of you!!" She continued. Seconds after, Bojan texted me. My face lit up even more when I saw the message pop up. I clicked on it.
