diego's pov
we get into the mall and start walking around. we get to a clothes store and both of us start looking. i see y/n looking at some shirts. i hear her say "how cute" but then puts it down.
"find your size ill buy it" i say
"noo i cant let you do that" she says slightly frowning
"i want to thoo" i say with puppy eyes. maybe she'll let me get her smth now. im just tryna make her happy
"ugh fine just ONE thing. nothing else, ill feel bad" she says
"YAYY okay which one do you want?" i say grinning. she handed me a shirt with a star on it.
i check the size and grab some of the other shirts she was looking at.
"do you wanna keep looking around while i check out?" i ask so she doesnt realize im buying more than just one shirt. she nods and keeps looking around the store. i rush to the check out so shes not alone for too long.
i finish paying and give her the bag
"why does it feel sorta heavy?" she asks with a confused look
"hm i dont know" i say hoping she doesnt get mad if she looks in the bag. she checked the bag. she couldn't have waited until we got to the car??
"diego.. why are there 5 shirts in here??" she says raising her voice
"uuhhhh thats a great question!" i say scratching my neck
"i said just one thing diegoo" she says slightly frowning
"i knoww but you looked like you really liked them" i say frowning back. i knew she liked them and i just wanted to get her mind off things.
"i guess. but this is ALL you're getting for me. and maybe some food" she replies. that is definitely NOT all im getting her. we keep walking and by the time were at the food court ive bought her a few more things. not as much as i wanted to get but she wouldnt let me. we got some shoes. i got jordan 4s in military black and i got y/n some panda dunks. we went into another clothes store and she got some sweats. then we went into a designer perfume store. i got her a bottle of burberry her. (that shit smells so good). then we stopped at thus random store and i bought her a my melody plush. then we got matching bracelets.
"okay diego, thats ALL youre getting me, youve already wasted so much money on me." she said sternly
"noo i didnt waste it i spent it." i say grinning
"whateverrr. im sorry to ask but im hungry can we get some food" she says
"dont be sorry y/nn, ofc we can get smth. what are you gonna wanna eat?" i ask softly.
"hmmm can we get some kfc or smth idk i want chicken strips" she says sorta shrugging
"okayy lets get to the car. you can get aux again." i say smiling. she smiles back. while walking back to the car we get pretty close. i wanna hold her hand but i dont know if she'd be comfortable with that so i stuck with just being close. we get to the car but this time instead of putting on sad songs she puts love songs?? i try to ignore it since maybe its just her playlist on shuffle. hasta la muerte by ivan cornejo and eslabon armado starts playing. i turn up the volume. we start screaming the lyrics "en verdad me tienes bien hipnotizado. quiero sentir tu presencia a cada rato" while singing we look at each other at certain lyrics. whats happening? is she just having fun or is she singing it about me? could she have had moved on from alex this fast? so many questions went through my mind but i just kept singing. tu me llevas a un espacio starts playing. we sing this too i really felt the "dame una chanza, te quiero yo enseñar que lo que por ti yo siento porque tú me llevas" lyric. i just wanna show her that i love her. anyways, we got to kfc and got our food, it was around 7 pm.
"do you want me to take you back to your house? or do you wanna go back to mine?" i ask cus we kinda had nth else to do
"can i stay with you for another day? if thats alright with you" she replied softly. i cant lie, i was so happy she wanted to stay with me. i love being around her even if right now it has to be platonic, and it can stay that way for all i care. just being around her makes me so happy. we get to my house, we also listened to music on the way it was a good time. i feel like sm changed today between us. we got sm closer. i dont know what happened its like todo cambio en un momento.
