diegos pov
i woke up to y/n in my arms. she was on her phone waiting for me to wake up i assume.
"good morning baby" i say
"good morning hermoso" she says looking up at me, giving me a kiss on my cheek.
"were off today, what do you wanna do?" i ask her, rubbing her arm.
"whatever you want, i dont mind." she says smiling
"do you maybe wanna go to the beach" i ask
"oh yeah that sounds fun" she replies
"okay we can go around 3 today? so we can watch the sunset. i want today to be an old fashioned date" i say smiling at her
"oohh okay that sounds fun!" she says excitedly
"okay then for now lets get breakfast and eat something" i say sitting up
time skip
i put in an order of flowers for y/n, while she got ready i wrote her a love letter, to go with the flowers. when she finished up, we went out to the car. i opened the door for her and we made our way to the beach.
"hey baby i need to pick something up, just wait here alright?" i say stopping the car
"hmm okayy" she says
i come back in the car with a ramo for her.
"here you go amor" i say giving her the ramo and the letter. she smiled at me
"thank you mi hermoso. they're beautiful" she says hugging me.
we finally got to the beach, the sun was setting. we were sat in the sand, her hand in mine. she went in for a kiss when suddenly
i woke up
fuck. that felt so real. i wasnt sure how to feel, so i called kevin
kevins pov
it was currently 10 in the morning, on a rest day. when i get woken up by some loud ass call. i check and its diego. what does he want from me so early in the damn morning? i answer and he just starts speaking, almost in a panic
"kevin oh my god i had a dream and it felt real and i want it to be real and i dont know what to do and oh my fuckkkk" diego rambled
"diego calm tf down i just woke up. what happened?" i say, really not wanting to deal with this
"okay i had a dream. about y/n. we were together, like together together. dating. we were out, doing all that couple shit then i woke up." diego said, his voice a little shaky. i sorta felt bad. i mean he obviously really liked this girl.
"look diego, you gotta find out how she feels about you. shes making you go crazy. you dont gotta ask her out, just figure out if the feelings are the same. start talking. like talking talking." i say
"but howwww? what if she doesnt see me like that? what if she just sees me as a friend.?" diego says, rambling again
"diego stop. just figure out if she likes you or not. if she doesnt, she doesnt. if she does, figure out how to go about it" i say. i knew y/n liked him, she told me. i also knew that she wanted to be in the talking stage with diego. she wanted to see if she was ready for another relationship. she was nervous to let diego know because if she wasnt ready, she didnt want to hurt him.
"kevin idk. maybe i can do it another day or something?" diego said nervously
"stop it already. youve been pushing this away for so long. just ask her. youll be fine." i say to him
"i mean i guess. i dont know i'll figure it out. ill let you know how it goes alright?" he says
"okay yeah let me know. bye diego" i say
"bye kevin" he says and hangs up

diego's pov
the call with kevin was eye opening. i realized how much i like her, and how much i need to let her know. but how? should i text her? no thats weird. maybe i should call her? no not that either. ill just ask her if i can come over. yeah ill do that. fuck im not ready for this. at all
