i woke up feeling horrible. i didnt like knowing that diego was upset with me. i hated that feeling. for as long as i could remember, i've been the type of person that tries to make others happy only. when people were upset with me, i couldn't handle it. and what makes this even worse is that this was my boyfriend that was upset with me. i know it wasn't my fault he was mad, but i felt shitty. i checked my phone to see if there were any messages or calls.

there was nothing.

this hurt me even more. i must've really made him mad. i decided to just try to ignore it. he'd come around, right? i got up and started getting ready. i wasnt quite sure for what but it helps me feel put together.
when i finished, i got up to make breakfast. i searched the fridge until i found something i could make. i decided on making chorizo con huevo. when i finished, i check my phone once again. still no messages. i shrug it off. he could be still sleeping. i watched gilmore girls while i ate. when i was done i washed dishes. after i cleaned my room a bit. when i was done i just laid down and took a nap.

when i woke up. i saw messages from diego

i had never felt more relieved. not only was i glad to have basically resolved it with diego, but i knew he wasn't mad at me.

after about 10 minutes, i heard a knock on my door
"pa im going out with diego" i yell to my dad so he's not wondering where i am

as soon as i open the door diego pulls me into a hug
"hi mi amor" he says very softly, kissing my forehead
"hi babeee" i say looking up at him smiling. he doesn't let go of me for maybe 2 minutes? i wasn't complaining though. this was just reassuring that he wasn't upset.

"what do you wanna go hermosa?" he asks as we start driving
"can we just watch a movie? i'm tired" i say looking at him
"of course we can. start thinking of what you wanna watch" he says smiling at me. i him in response

when we got to his house we went up to his room. he brought extra blankets and turned the tv on
"ven mi amor" diego says patting the spot next to him on the bed. i go and lay my head on his shoulder
"what do you wanna watch?" he asks
"can we watch the notebook?" i reply
"mhm" he says finding it on the tv. he presses play and we watch the movie. by the end we were both bawling our eyes out. diego pushed my head to his chest and rubbed my back. he kissed my forehead before saying
"i'm so sorry mi chula. for everything" he says softly
"nono dont worry it's okay" i say looking up at him
"but it's not. you didn't deserve that. i shouldn't have taken my frustrations out on you. i'm so sorry mi reina" he says placing kisses all over my face
"its finee just next time dont just blow up on me alright? we need to be able to talk to each other and communicate right" i say before nuzzling my face into his chest
"of course baby i'll work on it" he says. before i could respond i yawn
"estas cansada amor?" he asks
"un poco si" i reply
"cuéstate mamas. we can take a nap, okay"
"mhm" is all i can let out from how tired i suddenly got.

diego started to play with my hair. before i fell asleep i heard him say
"duérmete bien mi hermosa." and kissed my forehead. then we both fell asleep

diego's pov

we slept for about 3 hours. it was around 4:30. i felt y/n shuffling around so i ran my fingers through her hair.
"did you sleep good hermosa?" i ask her
"mhmmm" she hums
"okay good. do you wanna lay her for a bit? or we can go out to the mall. i need clothes and you deserve to get spoiled after the argument." i say smiling down at her
"yeah we can go. but don't spend too much on me. you do that too much." she says slightly frowning
"mi amor cuando estás conmigo no tienes que gastar ni un centavo" i say bringing my hands back up to her hair. we both get up and get to the car.

at the mall we just walked around. i got some clothes and bought y/n some jewelry and shoes. i really enjoyed buying her things. she would always say no and that she didn't need it, but everytime i get her something there's a specific smile, a grateful smile.
we finished up at the mall and got some food really quick. we went back to my house and ate our food. we talked about a lot of different things. how futbol was going for me, how her media is going, her brand deals, her little brother. all that. i was glad that we were okay.
